Dimmer is convenient

However, after a few months, I've had several problems when trying to hit the on or off switch while on the wall. I need to pull it away from the cradle to turn on or off on occasion.

I want to cover the existing switch cover, not put it next to my switch using 3M tape. I've had paint get ripped off after moving the switch.
