The issue is minor, and I ended up purchasing a second switch for another part of the house.

While this may be convienient, there's nothing like using a switch to simply turn on the lights. This is what the Hue Dimmer Switch is for. It takes a moment to grab your phone, launch the app, and tap on the light you want to turn on. In contrast, walking to the switch and pressing a button can save you a few seconds, especially when your in a hurry. Even more convienient is the fact that the switch doubles as a remote, held in place by a magnet. If your about to go to bed, simple detach from the wall plate and when your ready, push the corresponding button the switch without even getting up.
