Great way to control Hue lights without a phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do wish the remote could be set to control a specific group of lights, rather than an entire room (I you must shut off all of the lights in the room, I haven't found a way to control groups of lights - without going to another 3rd party app). If the remote could control groups of lights via the native Hue (or HomeKit App), this would have earned 5 stars. I have removed a light switch from 8 Hue BR30 can lights in my kitchen (hardwiring them to the on position), and control them with this remote. There's a quick response time, and multiple presses of the on button can cycle through pre-set scenes. I would definitely recommend this to others.
