The wireless remote controller works well enough. However it's a bit of a bummer that the remote control requires battery replacement but overall not a deal breaker. But these remotes are a necessity for guests, kids and other people who do not have access on their devices to control the lights. Like any other smart home product you really need to have a strong and reliable wireless network to take advantage of these products.

I thought that this switch was going to need to be wired as a replacement to my current switch. No need for that, it is wireless and works on batteries. Lights up and dims as needed and you hit the on switch multiple times to change the hue.

The best wireless dimmer switch the only downside is that you have to have a hue bridge ($60) to be able to use the dimmer but it's all worth it and very user friendly.

I like the dimmer switch remote, but the only thing I wish you could do with it is program the dimmer buttons to turn the lights on at less bright settings to start off with instead of turning it on at the full brightness and then having to turn it down. That way "on" can be full brightness, the brighter light button can be less bright, and the less light button can be dim. Just my suggestion.

If you are using any of the Philips Hue products, then this is a great addition to your setup. If you use Philips Hue with Alexa, then rather carrying Alexa around, you can use the switch as a stand alone to turn on/off the lights.

I don't like have to find one of my smart phones or tablets when I want to turn on the lights and this is a good solution. It's programmable and can come off your wall . I use at my home and it blends right in with my other light switches.

I like this remote but one thing I hate is I can't put it next to my others without it looking out of place. I would like to see a way to mount this inside the box or next to and have one cover plate for normal switches and this. I ended up using a blank glued the magnets on the back then used some hot glue to keep the thing from going anywhere.

Really adds a simple traditional light control to any hue setup. Honestly didn’t realize I needed one until I added one to one room. Now almost every room has a wall switch.

The Hue dimmer switch is a wonderful switch that works as advertised, it turns on my lights, turns them off, changes their color, one might say it's a light switch on steroids. It also looks like a light switch! Wow the innovation!
