Battery died in a few days+design flaws
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to take on a trip to replace on older Philips shaver. Within a couple of days the battery would not charge. Probably infant mortality, but there are other serious nuisances: 1) my old razor works when plugged in (if the battery is low) - this one DOES NOT. If your battery dies or is low (as mine did) you are up the creek 2) I got another similar unit (different model number) to replace this one, and discovered that its wall wart produces a different voltage. If you had two of these, you could easily plug in the wrong charger. 3) my old razor has an easily removable head, for knocking out the whisker shards. This one just flips open and waves around - the head is removable, but I'm skeptical about the longevity of the clasp that holds the head in place 4) the ON/OFF switch is an awkwardly placed push button - in the old razor, it's a reassuring slide switch 5) holding it just seems awkward compared to the older model. I am sending it back to Philips. It can't compete with their older model!
