Nice trimmer for nose/ear hair and trimming up eyebrows . Has several attachments for different jobs and is easy to use and clean. Not as small as some competitors but I have larger hands so I appreciate having something to grip. Could be an issue if you're looking for something ultra compact for traveling. Overall, it does the job well and I would recommend it.

Used this to replace the one I have had for a few years. I have to say, I love the ease of swapping out the trimmer tips and the caps for trimming eyebrows are great as well. Appreciate the fact that a battery is included as well. That was a nice touch!

    Basic trimmer, does the job

This is my first nose hair trimmer, in the past I always just used a pair of blunted scissors (so I wouldn't cut the inside of my nose). It's easy to use, you twist the bottom battery compartment off to insert or replace batteries. It comes with a lithium battery (non-rechargeable), but you can use any AA battery. The trimming head changes the same way, twist it to put on another head. There are heads for trimming nose hair, eyebrows and other facial hair. Very versatile and just one button for turning it on. If you have massive amounts of unwanted hair, this may not be the product for you, since it's an entry-level product. But for basic needs, this is just fine.

I've found that this Philips Norelco trimmer is a great quality trimmer that's easy to use and gets the job done. At one low price you get a nose trimmer as well as a head for ears and other body/facial hair. I am pleased with the results. Compared to the device I had previously, the Philips looks and feels higher quality and seems like it will last a long time, while not being any more expensive.

The Phillips Norelco 3000 hair trimmer works as advertised. It cuts nostril hairs without pulling. It arrived well packaged and light in weight. Everything was easy to find and I am glad it came with a long lasting battery. I wish the one I have came with a pouch for storage. There are several small pieces that could easily get lost. I’ve used one of these in the past. The one I previously owned was old and snagged/pulled the hairs in my nostrils. It was very irritating, but at the time necessary as unsightly hair on the ears and in the nose doesn’t look attractive. However, over time it had gotten old, wouldn’t cut the hairs well, pulled more and forced me to just use small scissors to cut them. I hoped this one would cut the hair without pulling and that’s what it does, however, I think it could cut better. It appears the blades aren’t as sharp. I was forced to use it a few times to ensure all the hairs were cut low. It never appeared to cut all of the hair off my ears and I didn’t use it for my eyebrows, but I primarily got this for my nose. Overall, it works as advertised. It’s affordable and easier to use than scissors.

If you are looking for a nose/ear trimmer get this one because its as good as the competition and the eyebrow attachment actually works! I have used several trimmers over the years but this the first one that had attachments that actually worked and were easy to use. The trimmer body is styled and works like most of the typical nose/ear hair trimmers except that the top detaches and you can put on a different cutting attachment for trimming eye brows. I have always tried to do this with a scissors and comb and was a little nervous when I tried the eyebrow attachment for the first time. I first tried the long comb attachment and once I got the hang of it I opted for the shorter comb which did a nice uniform trim. The trimmer itself seems to be well built, its easy to clean and for nose and ear hairs it does as good as others I have bought in this price range.

Does the job, but where do I store it all?

The Philips Norelco 3000 ENB (ear, nose, and brow) trimmer is fantastic for what it's made for and gets the job done. I mainly got this trimmer to remove unwanted hair inside of my nostrils and ears. If you're looking to trim your earbrows as well, this trimmer comes with both a small and large trim-heads to suit most individuals. Philips included one AA *Lithium* battery which should last you quite a long time before you'll need to replace it. You are allowed to use alkaline or rechargeable AA batteries if you'd like, but for best performance I'd recommend sticking to Lithium batteries for extended longevity of your trimmer and less frequent replacement. So yes, the trimmer works as advertised and doesn't "pull" against your inner hairs like some traditional trimmers do. However, one thing that always pangs me about Philips Norelco is the lack of inclusion of a carrying case/bag in this model. You have two trimming head pieces, two eyebrow trim-heads (one S, one L), and a cleaning brush on top of the trimmer, and how are you going to store it all? Philips' answer? Figure it out, buddy. If this trimmer had a modest storage capacity included with its packaging I'd give it five stars, as I'm tired of leaving small pieces inside my drawer and having to poke through other things to get to them. You could've made it to where we can place an elegant dock-like station in our bathroom counter to behold our specialized trimmer product, but no...

Got this for trimming my nose. And that's about all I'll use it for. The attachments are there for other uses but I had a really difficult time getting any good results on anything else. Eyebrows, ears, etc. It just didn't want to cut through the hair. And with as many attachments as it has that comes with it, I really would have liked some sort of bag to come with it to put it all in.

This trimmer is really great especially for the price. Ive used both trimmer heads for the nose and ear and they both performed great. No pulling or uncomfortable feeling when using it. The kit also comes with eye brow trimming heads but I don't have a use for them, but I expect they work well also. Give it a try if you need to groom your nose and ear hair.

I really like the Philips Norelco 3000 Trimmer. The included lithium battery provides plenty of power. The included accessories work well and the washable feature is nice. I had some trouble with the eye brow guides but I need to work with these a little more. Good product for a great price.

When it comes to trimmers and men's grooming products, there are plenty of names out there that we all know. Phillips Norelco is one the brands out there that has a more reputable reputation that that puts out quality products. This trimmer is no exception to that. It's battery operated, which is pretty nice that it requires no charging, which i think is something that I prefer at times over products that don't because I sometimes forget to charge things. On top of that, the product doe come with a nose trimmer and a "short" and "long' brow trimmer, which are all fairly easy to use and clean. One of the better things about this product in my opinion is also that you can wash/rinse it, at least the top of it where the trimmer is located, which makes it pretty easy to clean. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone, but particularly people like myself - the "average joe" type of guy when it comes to grooming, since it doesn't have a lot of "moving parts", it's easy to clean and maintain, and it gets the job done for simple grooming.

If you, too, have reached that unfortunate time in your life when hair starts getting longer & longer in the strangest of places- this is the tool for you! In the past, I've simply used my beard trimmer to make a quick pass of my nose & ears, but the 3000 Series Trimmer allows for much safer and controlled passes through these areas. In addition, I wasn't about to risk losing an eyebrow with the beard trimmer, so this trimmer and its included attachments make short work of the few pesky eyebrow follicles that frequently seem a bit out of control. Thus far, the "no-pull" promise has held up, so usage has been nothing but pleasant. Overall, a great value for a simple tool to handle an annoying (but very necessary) job!

I've had a couple of "cheap mart specials" trimmers over the years and I was kind of hoping this would be demonstrably superior given how much I love my Norelco One Blade - which BTW is one of the best purchases I ever made for beard grooming! If you have any kind of facial hair, it is a must have. Trust me on this! But honestly I'm not that impressed with it. Works as expected for brows but when I tried it for my nose hairs (which isn't a real problem for me) I found that it pulled a lot and was actually kind of painful. Since I don't need to trim my nose hairs that often, I guess this isn't a real problem for me personally but it might be for other guys so I think it's important to mention. Especially since they explicitly state it doesn't in the description. I also think for the price they could have included some kind of stand or storage bag. The plastic insert in the packing works as a stand in, but on the cheapo trimmers I purchased in the past, some storage method was included. It does work, just not as well as I expected given the Philips/Norelco name and my high satisfaction with their other grooming products. If you need a trimmer and you're in Best Buy already, it might be worth it to pick it up. But I don't see any advantages over cheaper personal trimmers myself.
