I have used Norelco razors for some 40 years and replace them every 2 to 3 years as that is the useful life of the battery. This is a great value and costs about $10 more than a new set of blades for my last Norelco razor.

The shave is somewhat irritating to the skin but not too bad. It gives a partial close shave but not as close as a manual razor but that has always been the problem with electric razors. On the whole it has been pretty good but it takes some time to adjust to it.

I was replacing an old Norelco, looking for similar features to the one that had served my needs for well over ten years. I only use it on weekends or times when I don't want to go to the trouble of a foam and blade shave. This one fit the bill perfectly for me.

So far so so good. I liked how it grooves to my face its smoother. Plus its easy to clean just a splash of water and your done. This much better than the 2100. The blade design of the 3100 is much smoother and gentle when shaving.

It's true what the manual say, that the skin gets irritated the first 3 weeks and not to expect the same results that a shaving rake. I give 4 stars because is not what i expected, but when i open it and read the manual it said the truth.

Seeing all of the other razors next to this one made me skeptical, but I went for it anyway and I don't regret it. I don't know what the other razors do so much better to justify the cost, but I am extremely satisfied with this one.

Good item for the price. Works well so far, but not sure about the long term

This electric shaver is not quite as good as regular razors with blades. Have to go over and over the skin to get rid of the hair on my legs. Works well for a "touch up".

Great razor. Hopefully since it was more than we normally spend on one he will replace the blades instead of the whole razor like we do when we buy the cheapest we can find.

Bought this razor for my Dad for Christmas. I get him the same brand (just a different model) about every 3 years. Loves it and uses it daily. Has good wear and tear.

Bought this shaver for my father-in-law as a surprise gift. He likes it a lot for the convenience. Compared to other shavers, this was the best deal I could.

I bought this shaver for traveling, but it is OK for every day use. I have used Philips Norelco shavers for years because they shave my face well.

On the day my old electric shaver died, this one went on sale. Same maker and model. Great timing for a solid and dependable shaving device.

I mainly use this shaver to shave my (almost) bald head. Gets much closer and is much safer than a regular razor. Can get the job done in 5 minutes.

I've trusted Norelco for 30 years and their products are just as reliable and quality-laden as they always have been. You can't go wrong with this.

Even though it is rough for initial use, you will get used to it. It has a trimmer which is very handy. You can use it plug in or on battery

I bought this as a gift for a young special needs young man as he was having issues with disposable razors and he loves it!!

Blades last for years, the screens do not, so I needed a replacement, as the new heads were quite expensive and hard to find

Hard to find this particular item. Bought the last one in a local store. Must be popular. Bought for Dad Christmas gift. Great price.

Very user friendly on the face. Kind of like gicing myself haircut/trim but at home.
