    Best shaver I have ever purchased. It does not shaver as close as my Braun, but here is what I love. 1. It shaves close. 2. I can shave 3 times faster than my Braun shaver and get on with my morning. I shave my face and head. Not spending the extra time shaving is worth it to me.

    This is the best shaver I've ever owned. I currently have a top of the line Braun shaver too, but it nicks me every time I use it. It's the type with blades that go back and forth. The Philips Norelco uses the rotary blades and they simply work better and do not nick me. The cleaner is quiet and cleans the shaver in just a minute or two. It really is worth the price.

    As an African American man, I find the Norelco 9500 gives a good close shave without irritation. A couple of issues I had are the numbering system Norelco uses when one registers the unit online, there was not a stand included in the box and the carrying case doesn't have room for the stand (I bought separately) or the power cord so make sure you charge the unit before you travel.

    I have a love hate relationship with this razor. It's a excellent razor and does a very close, comfortable shave. But it's clunky, too large, the shaver head has square edges that really feels awkward compared to past designs.
