The Norelco 5000 series works pretty good at trimming beards, but sometimes it pulls instead of cutting the hairs so you have to clean it often. It does the job and provides a clean shave so that it always a good thing. A quick charge lasted about a good hour or a little more, of shaving. You honestly don't need the whole hour because it works very well and was done in no time. It did not come with a storage bag and I'm not sure if they normally do, but just throwing that out there. The attachments were perfect for trimming your beard and your head. They attach nicely and securely and measure out well for the area of where you want to shave. I was pretty impressed. Its a good size shaver and not real big or bulky. The cord length was a very good length to give you some room if your not right by an outlet. I would recommend this to a friend for sure.

The Philips Norelco - 5000 series Trimmer is simply a solid, quality product for a reasonable price. I've been using Phillips Norelco shavers for years and have found them consistently excellent. Although the trim function found on most of their shavers has worked fine for my beard, adding the 5000 series Trimmer to my arsenal was a noticeable improvement. It's powerful, cuts clean and true, and the battery holds it's charge for a long time. I also 'buzz' my head and found that being able to do that with the attachment included with this unit was an unexpected plus. The easy-to-use adjustment wheel for varying the fine-tuned short cutting length was great. A good solid product that I full recommend.

You get exactly what you pay for with this model trimmer from Philips Norelco. Pros: - Quality blades that cut easily and neatly. - Works on both beards and head hair. Sideburn trimming was excellent. - Long battery life, can go over a week without charging depending on use. - Guide combs are provided if you want to eliminate risk of uneven cutting jobs. Cons: None This is an excellent model to consider if you are looking for a new grooming device. It can do pretty much everything you need except for providing a close shave (which it is not meant for). Definitely check it out!

Easy to use and holds charge for a while. Great price as well.

So this is the first time I have used an electric razor. Specifically, an electric razor for my head. I did not know how to use it and directions were a bit confusing so me being an idiot I take the razor without the trimming clip on it for the length I wanted and just set it on the blade like an idiot. Luckily i only did a test section because boy did that hair come right off down to the skull. Luckily I get my haircut the equivilant of a #3/#2 blade so I googled and figured out that I had to pick the trimming clip of the correct color that matches the setting I wanted. At that point it was easy. It also did wonders for my beard without the trimming clip cuts down to the skin so you have just some stubble. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a clean cut. Just be sure not to be stupid like myself and not use the correct length trimming clip haha!

First off upon opening the package I was immediately impress with the look and feel of this trimmer. Feels like a professional model in your hand. Charged it overnight and put it to use. Comes with three attachements for everything from beard to trimming between haircuts. Very precise measurements for setting the level of trimming desired. The best part however was the actual trimming experience, quiet, smooth and did a great job with a single pass. Definatelyt recommend this trimmer.

This trimmer is working pretty well. It does not snag, the battery life is excellent, length adjustment settings are easy to read and change, and cleaning is really easy. The blades easily pop on and off so everything can be brushed or rinsed. The waterproof feature is also a huge plus for both use and cleaning. I have had more than one trimmer in the past where water was the enemy. Overall, I am really happy. It is rare for me to say this but I have no complaints.

I really like using this trimmer. It has a great feel and fits in my hand well. The Combs are easy to adjust and work very well at provide a consistent length. My beard is very coarse and the hairs grow in every which direction. The trimmerr is powerful and requires very little in the way of repeat passes. I would absolutely recommend this

Upgraded to this trimmer and the flexibility on trim levels is very easy to do with same attachment

Useless at all, it does not shave anything all my face, please get away this thing.

Even with the guard on this thing will cut/pinch skin.
