Glad I did, saved money and got all the quality I expected from Phillips/Norelco. It replaced an older Phillips beard groomer and it certainly is a marked improvement over the older design. Plenty of power, quality and options. Thanks Best Buy!

I do not use it to cut their hair because it would break the machine since dogs have a thicker coarse hair. But I use it whenever they need a trim on their face or if one of their paws need to be looked after. I liked this trimmer bc the battery lasts very long AND does not lose power. I usually buy a machine like this one every 2 - 4 yrs, but this one seems it will last; I bought the ins for $6 see if I need it in 2 yrs, but it seems really good.
