It shaves

Very simple to use and gives a nice even shave you just press one button and you are on your way to a baby smooth face. There is a wide variety of attachments that give me so many options. Now I can finally shave my head, face, big toe, 4th knuckle, even my gold fish. You name it, the Philips Norelco - Multigroom 5000 trimmer - Black/Silver can shave it.

Great trimmer for those who want to conserve cost

I used compressed air to clean out the inner areas since you can't use water. I think it's great and if you're newer to shaving or need something to help trim while you're on a vacation/overseas, this is good for you. The one thing I have to point out is that there is no carrying case for it, it's simply a bag inside which you can throw your parts. Other than that, it's solid and retains charge well.

Way better than the 3000 series
