I got it on the deal of the day, trims great and a variety of sizes

This is a hard review. On one hand the trimmer is just good. Plenty of power, 4 total trimmers (normal, wide, detail, and ear) not just cut your hair but cut the time. The materials used are good, it feels sturdy, the trimmers good and so far no rust signs. I'm using it twice per week for a full trim of my hair and I have not required to charge it yet, take for granted there is plenty of power. I miss 2 things. First, this is not waterproof, so be sure not to take it to shower. Previous models had this advantage at this price and is a boomer not to have this feature. The second are the guards, just fixed lengths, no option of an adjustable length, I get this is part of the "cost reductions" of the price point, but Phillips could change 2 or 3 guards for just one that is adjustable.

Terrific little shaver! Feels solidly built and handles nicely. Lots of accessories for whatever you need. If I had to make a complaint it be that it cuts so well that the hair trimmings due tend to drop in a wider pattern making a little more of a mess. Otherwise a great shaver.

This unit works well on my beard and the battery power is much more convenient than my old corded unit and the price was right. I just have two warnings. 1) DON'T get water in the handle. It isn't sealed well. 2) The pocket between the handle and the cutting head is a hassle to clean and it should to be done after each use.

I got this just because most Jaír clippers were already sold out by the time I decided to get one. It’s cordless so it’s really easy to use. It’s quite versatile, too. It’s mainly for facial and body hair but I used it to cut my hair and it didn’t disappoint. :) I see myself bringing this with me when I go for work trips to upkeep my hair cut.

Great portable shaver. Many attachments. Need to convert mm to inches but not too bad. Feels great in the hand, holds a long charge.

Perfect trimmer for covid season when all the barbers are closed. This trimmer does a great job at my crew cut style. Simple trim once every 2 weeks keep it nice and tidy. Cleanup is a breeze. Comes with different lengths of guards. Rechargeable battery lasts a long time.

Bought this for quarantine haircuts. I actually have a similar norelco model but lost some of the guards over the years. I thought this was the same which it pretty much is but the older one I have is waterproof. It’s seems this one is only water resistant (can’t take it in the shower) but otherwise works great (and now I have all the guards!)

Phillips norelco trimmer is great since it’s lightweight and very easy to use. They have all the different settings to cut close or longer. Also, the price is very reasonable for a great quality trimmer. The charger keeps the charge for a long time and charges very fast

I purchased this on 9/25/18, plugged it in and gave it a full charge. I wish it had a charging indicator light but it is not really necessary. I unplugged it, stored the charger in a safe place, and promptly forgot where I put it. So after a few months of using this trimmer 2 to 3 times a week I began looking for the charger. No luck. Finally, on 5/25/19, after 8 months of consistent use the battery ran out of power. I now was on a mission to find the charger. It was right where I left it, safely stored in my desk drawer. I am currently charging it for the second time anticipating the same extended battery range. If you are going somewhere with no power or expect heavy usage this is the trimmer you want. As for the quality of a shave, it works as well as any I have used. I like the broader head. I thought I would not like it after using smaller trimmers but I found I could get as accurate a cut with a little finesse. You may have to adjust the way you are used to trimming but with a little practice you will come to enjoy the larger size head.

Good choice of attachments & blades. Lightweight & great battery life.

I absolutely love this trimmer. It works great one just about any part of the body. It shaves nice and close or you can use the trimmer attachments to get just the right length hair. Battery lasts a long time on a charge

Replaces a Wahl similar product that I was very disappointed with. This Philips Multigroom 5000 Trimmer fills all my needs and expectations. Feels good in your hands, does a good job with all accessories, and charge lasts a long time. Sticking with Philips in future, good price for a better product.

Works great as a beard trimmer and like that it has the 2mm option and a ton of others. Only negative is you are not supposed to put the head under water while on the trimmer. Need to pop it off first. minor gripe

I replaced my old trimmer for this and I really like it. The charge lasts a lot longer and the cutting is much smoother. The head of the trimmer is bigger than my old so it took some time to get use to it.

Good power, very veratile and low price. This razor comes with plenty of attachments to meet my needs. The body hair trimmer is very smooth and thr guards protect the valuables.

Ample amount of attachments mean I can trim my beard to any desired length. It’s not waterproof, but I knew that already, and for the price, it’s not a huge loss. The nose hair trimmer is a win.

I used to have a older norelco but it started to not hold a charge and would not work plugged in . I purchased this one to replace it because I was able to also use it plugged in. It comes with a great assortment or attachments and cleaning is a breeze. It’s also very comfortable to hold and light.
