The Multigroom 5000 Trimmer is the complete package. With a full compliment of attachments, including both wide & narrow guide heads, this trimmer system should satisfy most consumers. I particularly liked the addition of the nose, ear and fine tuning precision attachments. There are a total of 18 attachments and the kit also comes with a handy pouch to store them together. I also like the the fact that is unit is Lithium-ion based. This usually translates into a product out lasting the older battery tech. Haven't had the unit long enough to validate if the run time lives up to the 3 hour rating, but it does charge quickly and operates on the cord. The rubber grip is expansive and makes the unit easy to work with. No slippery surfaces. And the dual cutting blades that self sharpen is another ingenious design facet. I personally prefer the trimmer systems have the dial adjustable length control but considering all the additional functionality built into this product, the versatility is pretty much incomparable to that type of product. This trimmer system is an outstanding value when on sale. Highly recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised at the sheer number of attachments that came with this multi-function trimmer. From varied trimming blades providing extra wide, full size and precision and nose trimming attachments to a multitude of guard attachments for stubble, beard, hair and body trimming, the Phillips Norelco multi-groom serves every conceivable "man-scaping" need in a single device. The included pouch is especially helpful in keeping all these attachments in a single place. Using the trimmer is everything you'd expect from a Norelco electric trimmer. The blades are sufficiently sharp to avoid snagging, and all the included guards ensure that you don't cut yourself but can still achieve the desired trimming effect. It charges up quickly and holds the charge for quite a few uses before needing to be recharged. I am delighted with this device and am happy to recommend this to anyone looking for an all-in-one trimming device.

turn the razor off. It randomly turns itself on without touching it after a hour..a day...2 weeks..whenever it feels like it without touching it. A real piece of junk. What is the deal with this? Avoid at all costs.3 months old and junk.

To much noise and the battery isn’t longer to use very low power

I wasn’t too sure how much I would need this groomer but over the course of a few weeks I found myself using several of the included attachments. It comes with a large clipper and all of the guards; good for trimming your hair or beard, a smaller clipper and guards for tighter spots like around the ears, and a nose/ear tip. The attachments pop on and off easily as do the guards. An organizer for the pieces would be nice(it does come with a storage bag). The rechargeable battery life hasn’t been an issue and is a nice alternative to always looking for batteries. This groomer replaces two of my other trimmers even though I’m not ready to start cutting my own hair. This is a must if you like to keep a clean trimmed look.

Not enough short/stubble attachments. Wish they had smaller/shorter attachments.

I used this trimmer just once. It trimmed hair fine. 2 weeks later I heard a buzzing sound in my closet and it had turned itself on??? I recharged it and put it back in the closet. When I tried to use it 2 months later, it would not start. I have tried charging it again every week for the last three weeks, but It is completely dead.

Your product need to have more detail online. What is the maximum and minimum cutting length in mm. My old trimmer had maximum 25 mm cut. This one has maximum 16 mm which is very low. Have to return it. Please add more detail. Wasted my time for ordering waiting on this product.

you'll be left with stuble no matter the attatchment with this. Cant even use it in the shower

Sucks... IDK maybe I have tough beard hair but this thing cannot get through it. It leaves my beard completely wrecked and uneven. The only tool I can actually get some use out of is the nose hair trimmer and the really small trimmer head for details. It doesn't have enough power for the bigger trimmer heads even when plugged in.

trimmer when plugged in, does not have a light or anything to let us know if its charging or not. i do not know if its charged fully? or somewhere in the middle charged. should have a put in a small led to know when its charging, and to let conusmer know when its fully charged.

I bought this product after seeing the reviews and was very happy with the performance until it stopped charging. I have been using it for ~ 3months about once in 2 weeks and was happy with the performance. But, all of a sudden the LED is not glowing when I put it to charge and slowly trimmer ran out of charge.

Used the clippers with a guard and it left an uneven cut that had to be corrected by another set of clippers.

the standard trimmer can grab and actually drew blood

Trimmer and accessories felt cheap out of the box. There is just the power button no indicator light to let you know if it’s fully charged or if it needs to be charged. Did not even try to use it because of that. Will be returning.

This is the second Philips trimmer that I’ve own. This one is a little lighter and feels a little cheaper but it seems to perform very well. I swapped out the smaller trimmer head for the full size hair trimmer. Changing trimmer types is very easy to do. My wife shaved my head with no issues. The attachments fit snug and stayed in place. It doesn’t have the “turbo” features like my other one but it powered through week old stubble with no issues. Charged quickly and seemed to hold its charge the month that I’ve been using it. Good product so far.

this thing nicked me on the neck and I was bleeding... be careful.

The product has lot of attachments and it took me a while to figure out how all of them were to be used. They connect to the head easily. The shaver charges quickly and hold a charge for a long time. Overall, I liked this product. When I first held the shaver in my hand, I thought it felt cheap. But, it ended up giving a smooth shave. The final result wasn't a completely smooth face but the shave was very close. The nose hair trimmer was a great addition. It worked well and will definitely be used regularly.

the performance is low when compared to other models

This device stopped sorking completely within ten days. Hardly used it two times. Best buy refused to change replacr or even help. It doesnt charge and doesnt wake up. Useless piece. Will never buy Philips Razor again Complete waste of money
