The purchase price was reasonable after a promotional discount. My issue with this product is it doesn't provide a CLOSE shave with any of the attachments. This means I need another device in order to get the shave I'm looking for; very disappointing since I replaced an old unit that stopped working. Not sure if the blades can be sharpened but it's a huge let down. Not sure if I'd recommend this product. I probably would have returned it had I not waited too long.
