This an okay shaver with many parts. It's useable and gets the job done, but I've had better shavers with less attachments.

If you need a Beard trimer and you don't need to shave close to your face then this is for you.

This does a great job of trimming, but the attachments for shaving and other very fine tuning are not powerful.

Incredibly, the cutting guides are not labeled in anyway to correspond to their numbered description in the instruction pamphlet. So, it’s your best guess as to which to use for what. Very frustrating, especially since it would be such a simple thing to do. The handle itself was ok...seemed like it started losing power a little earlier than I thought it should. For these reasons, I would not recommend and had I only known, would not have bought it in the first place.

Difficult to decipher which trimmer is for what purpose - hair, beard, mustache.

Over the years, I've burned through at least 4 rechargeable or battery powered trimmers. This one, right from the start, feels more solid, well built and powerful than all the rest I've tried. This trimmer with its 23 attachments (Wow) should be able to handle all your trimming needs. It's fully washable, has a stainless steel body and a 5 hour lithium-ion battery so you can likely use it a whole week while travelling without a recharge - unless you like to shave your entire body every day. Hmm. Why did I only give it 4 stars? Compared to some of my previous trimmers, this one just doesn't trim as close to the skin as the others. I tried multiple head types but just could not reproduce the closeness of other models. Other than that - I think this trimmer is built better and will last longer than all the others! If you know someone that has a beard - this would definitely be a great gift. Again - this is a trimmer - not a shaver - as it states in the manual.

This bad boy is perfect for me since it comes with so many accessories and little add on items. I use this for trimming my beard, touching up the hairs on top of my ears when my hair gets to long, I also use the nose hair trimmer which works really fast and is painless. I love that I can cut my hair with this little tool (not long hair) I could also do a decent fade. For the price I think you will be satisfied! This is perfect for quick touch ups or even for cutting your kids hair. I think it will hold up since it’s not cheaply made.

Not as close a shave as the Philips One Blade I was hoping to upgrade from. More versitile for beard and hair maintenance though.

Certainly not a good replacement for any razor. Loads of trimming aides but the trimmer is no match a disposable razor. Save your money

I have been using a Philips Multigroom 3000 trimmer for almost 4 years now, and had been very satisfied with its performance. Recently I upgraded to the Philips Multigroom 7000 trimmer, which adds a lot more functionality to the 3000 series. In addition to the standard beard trimming, this one also offers hair trimming, body trimming, eyebrow trimming and also includes a precision shaver. The main unit is quite well made with a metal body and can be rinsed with water. The battery life is exceptional: they claim it runs for 5 hours, and though I didn’t keep a time log or anything, its seems like it's not off the mark: I haven't charged since I started using 1 month ago and using it a couple of times every week. One great option I liked is that you can shave while charging, which is very useful since there's no battery meter or anything. In terms of beard trimming, this thing works as it should be. There are 3 beard trimming guards along with 2 stubble guards for the regular trimmer. The blades are sharp and maintenance-free and has the self-sharpening ability. Using fixed-length guards instead of variable-length guards seemed better to me since then it becomes easier to clean. For beard-fashion aficionados, there's a precision-trimmer and a foil-type precision shaver and they work very well. The hair trimmer has 6 trimming guards, including 2 for a fading cut. The extra-wide trimming blades has to be used with it and makes hair-cutting quicker. You also get a barrel-type nose/ear trimmer. The body trimmer has two guards and they work as well as the beard trimmer. However, I used that only once and didn't spend much time with it. The same goes for the eyebrow trimmer - haven't used it yet. The only con I found is that since the trimmer has so many guards and trimming heads (there are 23 pieces in the set!), I sometimes found myself boggled down and had to sift-through all the heads/guards to get the right one. The guards are kind-of color coded, but they are some similar that it's frustrating sometimes. Only the body trimming guards are labeled properly. All-in-all, the grooming set is a very good one and from my use of the 3000 series should last a long time. For $60 list price, it's a good value buy for everyday use.

Not good it’s hurting I had previous one which is working better then this and obsorbs hair inside and this is not and pulling hair and it hurts

Razor is very quiet but doesn’t cut as close as the $39 wahl I had prior. Bought this as an upgrade but im taking it back and buying another wahl.
