Water gets inside the body and it becomes unusable. Fortunately the people at Philips replaced my trimmer at no cost. Philips has great customer service. My replacement trimmer does not meet water and it works quite well.

Performs Like a Pro
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hope this is not just first impression since I’ve used it only once so far but while I’ve tried others trimmers before, this Multigroom 9000 clearly has more power than those. It easily did a nice job effortlessly in a couple of minutes when the previous ones would have taken 10 minutes or longer with a subpar result. I really hope it always performs this good and that it will last for years to come. The battery never ran down so I don’t know how long a charge would last but if it is always as efficient as in my experience, there is not much to worry about its needing to be charged while you are in a middle of a job. If only the nice case had an easier-to-reach design! It is a bit frustrating to get to the accessories but the overall quality of the trimmer makes it a minor issue. Frankly, I don’t think I will ever use all 13 of those accessories anyway but it is good to have them. I’m very satisfied and although I didn’t have to pay for this combo, I would easily buy it after learning how good it really is.
