defective product had a very bad experience with it

I have been using Phillips trimmer for decades, I had one very basic, but with metal head trimmer which was my favorite all these years. It is not made any more, I have been surviving with another medium quality one all these years (again from Phillips), it works but is mostly plastic and the blade feel is not there. This Phillips 9000, or MG7770/49 as it is called on their website, feels and works same as my old metal one. It gives a good close trim. The size is just right, it has loads of attachment, and the travel bag is of good quality. Travel does feel stuffed with all the things inside, but I am not gonna need it except for travel, so it will serve its purpose. Its thick and will handle shock, so you can just drop it in your bag. Trimmer it self has a solid feeling to it, like its made to last. Battery is lasting me for past 10 days (a couple of trims), and I am yet to charge it. From my experience the first thing to go in few years will be battery (nothing wrong with this product in particular, its just difficult for battery to sustain such long life). There are too many attachments, I hardly ever use them, so I will not be commenting on them but if you use, it does come with nose/ear/another small (eyebrow?)/and different lengths. It says shower proof, and the box said IPX7, as as per wiki, that is up to 1 meter depth. The box said 110-240 so it should be good, where ever you go with the supplied charger, even though that feature has been there in all models. One last thing, I liked that the blade size is a tiny bit smaller now, it gives better movement. 5 star trimmer from Phillips.

The foil attachment is the closest electric shave I have had. Razors have always made me breakout but never with my Phillips electric razors. I had 3, now I have just one with this. It has a nose hair attachment, body groomer attachment (which doesn't pinch sensitive areas), and the aformentioned foil attachment. My only qualm is the foil could be slightly wider for more area coverage but it gets me very smooth so I'll take it!

This is a must buy, great value, compact trimmer. Simple as that. You get more than you pay for at this price point and this is solid Philips quality. This is a perfect set to use after getting a haircut to fix up what your barber didn't clean up as smoothly as you wanted. Great for touch ups and for full grooming/detailing. It's very comfortable in your hand and the strength of the blades are truly surprising to me. Really gives a nice clean cut.

This Grooming kit is the truth. I love the snap on interchangeable heads. And The battery charges very quickly. It also comes with a nice selection of comb heads as well as nose and ear trimmer head. I am not one for cutting and trimming my own beard but this one will give anyone the tools to get the job done.

This unit does it all, from trimming all aspects of your facial hair, and keeping those sideburns at bay, to hair removal. It is very well designed and charges quickly. The amount of attachments, including different cutting blades makes this unit very flexible. The attachments also go off and on very easy. Waterproof is a must to keep this unit clean...

Bought for a gift, very positive feedback. Lots of attachments, and works perfectly.

Not worth for the price !!!!! I have an older model from philips model 7000 for not even half price of this one but this one could not even in the same class and this one has to call my older philips model grandpa !!!!! Not recommend

The Multigroom 9000 description clearly states: "The trimmer can be used cordless or while plugged in." However, the manual that comes with the product says "This product can only be used without a cord." I can confirm that this product in fact does not work while plugged in.
