Every attachment you could possibly hope for, holds a solid charge, cuts well. Everything it's supposed to be and do it does extremely well.

This thing is perfect for my needs. Comes with multiple pieces so you get the shave you want. Easy to use, even a caveman can figure it out. Battery life is great with the built in battery. My last personal shaver used batteries and that got expensive over time. It also comes with a little bag to store it all. You don't need the newest trimmer out there, this one will get it done!!!

This little unit is easy to use due to light weight and is comfortable to grip. I would like it better if I did not have to empty the storage bag in order to select the desired cutting guide, The nostril trimmer does a good job with no discomfort. Battery life is great and able to be charged in less than an hour.

This is a nice update to the prior version of the Multigroom 5000. Comb count is consolidated here a bit, primarily with a new adjustable comb for beards. This is a great addition, I’ve never been a huge fan of keeping track of a pile of combs with small labels, swapping, etc. and I almost always look for options that provide a more compact solution. So here we get one! - the comb is nicely made and since it uses an off-axis dial that raises the comb, it’s nearly impossible to have it drop down a size unexpectedly during use. Grip: The shape of the trimmer itself is also helpful for all of the places you can trim. The flat-ish facets on the sides do a good job giving you a confident hold what won’t rotate out on you suddenly with soapy hands. It also has a bit more grip material than the prior design, in general. Battery: I always look for lithium ion batteries in these as they just last longer, without any dreaded ‘memory effect’ or short lifespan of some of the cheaper alternatives. This model has one and so far I’ve yet to need to recharge it. Cut Quality: Like many compatible trimmers, the cutting heads provided (you get 3, narrow, beard, and wide) all did a nice job cutting, but they don’t cut as fine as trimmers dedicated for head-hair. Expect to get decent edges, just not as fine as what you’d get at a barber shop. Combs: I already mentioned the combo beard comb above, which is by far my preferred, but this comes with several more options for body and hair. Two body combs do a nice job of cutting close without skin cuts. The hair combs are a little less preferred, mostly because this model doesn’t provide the whole range of sizes, skipping every other size and providing about 4 total. If you’re cutting medium-length hair, this won’t do. And unfortunately, if you’re hoping to cut shorter hair, you’ll have to use the narrower trimmer head and beard combs as these sizes aren’t provided for the included wide trimmer head. In summary - This is great for short to medium-short beards (up to about 0.5” length,) largely due to the included adjustable comb… but look a model up or two (or a dedicated tool) for better options for head-hair cutting. Had this been more expensive, I would have docked it a star in my rating, but as it stands, it accomplishes quite a bit for the price.

The Philips Norelco satisfies every trimming need. It includes easy to snap on interchangeable blades, guides, a nose hair trim attachment, ear hair trimmer, eyebrow comb & even includes a storage pouch to store all of the accessories. There is even an 18-setting hair clipper comb. A total of 18 tools are included with this package. This trimmer is powered by an internal Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. A USB cable is included that simply plugs into any USB charger that you own. The body of this trimmer is made of rubber, so it feels firm in your grip. This greatly reduces the chance of accidentally dropping it. I found it to be well balanced, so it stays level in your hand & is not heavy on either end. This Multigroom 5000 trimmer is fully washable, as are all of the included tools. Clean-up is a breeze. After use, just hold it under the tap & it rinses clean. The battery quick charges in 60 minutes & provides a run time of 50 minutes. CONCLUSION: I use the Philips Norelco Multigroom Trimmer daily & highly recommend it. With the included accessories, it offers a tremendous value.

Great grooming kit! The Philips Norelco Series 5000 is very easy to use and has all the necessary attachments for trimming beard, hair, and even nose and ear hair. The battery life is impressive, and it charges quickly. Good quality, comfortable to hold, and works perfectly. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about this product, it’s exactly what I needed. I use it to cut my hair and for trimming my beard and with yhe attachments it makes it so rasy to do so. The high selling point for me was that it’s waterproof but the only negative thing is that although it comes with a charging cable, it doesn’t come with the adapter so you have to provide your own.
