Precision grooming set
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After the pandemic shut things down,I started cutting my husband' s hair using old style, heavy plug-in clippers. I was excited to get this cordless Norelco setup! No more tripping on cords! Even better , these clippers are very lightweight and narrower. This makes it a breeze for trimming around ears and doing neck shaves. Changing the blades and guards is very easy. This set provides lots of options for all types of grooming besides scalp hair. Beards, moustaches, even eyebrows can be trimmed with this unit. THere is even an attachment for trimming up the nose and ears which hubs said was not uncomfortable. The charging was fast and seems to last a long time. After cutting my husband's hair, I played with the clippers with different guards and blades trying to deplete the battery but gave up after an hour and it was still going strong. I am really looking forward to being able to do neck trims often. With the precision cut, I will have a lot more confidence doing husband's sideburns without getting too short. Finally, the storage pouch holds all of the goodies so you are not going to misplace anything you need to stay neat and we'll groomed.this grooming set is perfect for someone who needs precision and does frequent trims. The cordless aspect makes it easier and safer to use in a bathroom

A close shave from a top company.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phillips has made a lot of shavers over the years. As fashion changes, they have adapted by making stubble razors. There have been two approaches to leaving stubble on your face: separate combs and dial a length. With separate combs, each comb / hair guide is for a preset length (i.e. 2mm, 4mm, 15mm). This locks you in to only the lengths that the razor comes with. The combs though are designed to stand the hair up all the way down to the blade, allowing for more hair to be cut per pass. Dial a length has historically used a hollow comb. The comb still straightens the hair in front of the cutting blades. This design can work better if you’re changing the length of your hair on different parts of your face or head. In addition, it comes with a nose har trimmer. . Phillips newest razor tries to combine the best of each approach and does a pretty good job. It comes with variable razors for your face and fixed length guides for other body hair you may want to shave. The variable guides push up and down from the razor blade to ensure they both straighten the hair as well as provide for the desired length. My choice is to wear a close cropped beard. My previous razor was making a lot of noise and the comb was loose. It appears that over time, the connection between the blade and the razor wore out. The loose vibration caused the noise. I’d had it for more than 5 years, so no complaints on how long it lasted. During that time, it shaved consistently until close to the end. The new razor appears to be better built with mostly metal parts. It also uses a Li-Ion battery, so no worries about battery memory. The razor does not come with its own charger, instead providing a cord which will plug into a USB-A port. Phillips assumes that everyone has plenty of extra AC adapters at home (which is the case with me). It should simplify traveling as I’m usually bringing at least USB charger for other devices I have. It would have been nice if it interfaced with USB-C for better future proofing, but it’s at least a step in the right direction. The charger takes an exceptional experience and make it simply 'Great' It cleans as easily as my old one, perhaps a little better. It requires only a rinse under water to get the hair off. The charge lasts over 90 minute in my testing. Phillips says it should last 110 minutes on a 1 hour charge. It will also run with the charger plugged in, just in case it runs down unexpectedly on you. It’s very compact and fits in my toiletry bag nicely. Overall, I really liked this razor. It’s very quiet, and does the job its designed for. It’s easy to clean, easy to charge, and travels well. I’m excited to use this for years to come!

Versatile and Lightweight
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received my Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 a couple days ago and I’m really starting to like this razor. It has a lot of pieces, 19 tools and accessories to be precise. It actually made me read the instructions just to see what they recommended each tool to be used for. Which by the way has a large enough print that I can easily read it. I appreciate that! Upon receiving my new razor the first thing I did was set it to charge overnight. Once it was charged and ready to go I tried out something I have never used, the nose hair trimmer tool. I have no experience to compare it to, but it seemed to work pretty well. It was very comfortable, no grabbing of hairs or anything. So I’d consider that a win. Now onto the main reason I wanted this razor, a beard trimmer. I have been sporting a goatee for a while and this device worked quite well for a quick and easy trim. When using it without a guard I got a level of closeness I would expect. Of course not smooth like a shave, but close enough for me. Next was to choose the guard to trim the hair I actually want to stay on my face. There are a few guards to choose from but the one that lets you dial in the length of the trim from 1mm to 3mm in .2mm increments is my favorite. Later that night I took the razor into the shower (it’s waterproof) and went to trimming up some other body hair and again, it all worked quite well. Then to finish my testing the next day I slapped on the proper blade and guard to buzz my head and once again, a very smooth and comfortable experience. All in all I really like this device. It’s versatile with all its accessories, lightweight and waterproof. And even though I just got it, reading other reviews suggests its battery life is excellent. Other than a travel bag that perhaps left me wanting more, I give this razor high marks across the board. Well done Philips Norelco, I’m happy to give this razor a 5 star review and I would absolutely recommend it to a friend.

Powerful multigroom trimmer.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 is a product that’s extremely precise in grooming. With so many attachments and standard features, I was able to groom myself perfectly within 10 minutes of time with lining, and hair shaping and my beard was all flawless after I took my time. What are the best things about this grooming kit is that it lasts about 5 hours in testing, I wanted to see how long I can go without plugging it in and went through about 2 weeks of use on a daily with touch-ups. Norelco Multigroom 7000 feels ergonomically good in the hand and smooth to the touch with grips indented into the mold making it easy to hold. There are 19 adjustments to the length levels settings so there’s plenty to get you at the right level for your face and body. And I mean it can go low with 0.2 mm down to the face but I normally take it down to 1 mm. The blade feels really good as the stainless steel cuts every single trim or strand off. The thing is so precise when cutting and it feels great on the skin. I personally enjoyed the Philips Norelco Multigroom kids before but the 7000 series just improves on what was already perfect about the device before. Long beard, fading hair, hair guards, nose and ear, precise guard, precise trimming, extra wide guard, eyebrow, and many more guards and trimmer attachments come in the box so this is truly a good all-in-one unit like this. It’s been very helpful having just one device that can suit all these needs. Outside of that, there’s not much to talk about due to no issues with the trimmer. It does come with a USB-A charging cord and a carrying bag for travel purposes. I like this trimmer very much and got me looking right over the past few weeks with self-care. Definitely a 5-star product to me and happy with the outcome.

Powerful Grooming Razor with Many Accessories
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 seems to be the most versatile (multi-use) razor grooming device I have ever owned. It comes with many different adapters for different body areas, including nose hair, which I didn't expect when I requested the product for review. The package includes an accessory bag, which you'll want to keep all the accessories together. It had a USB charging cable but be aware that you'll need a USB-A port to power it. The first thing I tested was the default (preinstalled) blade without any accessories to trim facial hair (specifically, in the sideburn area). It cut quickly and cleanly, cutting in a straight line. With the same blade, I cleaned up my chest hair (in the shower, this is a waterproof grooming device), and the Multigroom 7000 cleared that area faster than any other male grooming razor I tried. There were some cuts/nicks while I was doing this (going slower may have prevented that), and that's why especially in sensitive body areas, you probably want to use one of the accessories that hold the blade away from the skin The nose hair trimmer adapter worked great for trimming nose hair, much better than the typical $20 nose hair trimmer I buy every couple of months. I hope it lasts longer than those as well.

Easy to use features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit has lot's of useful grooming features and the combs are easy to swap. Charging is fast and with a powerful motor that is not that loud. I really like that the blade is self sharping and does not require oil. It can easily be used for trimming beards, body hair and trimming head hair. I like to get a close shave on my head and this works for well. Cleaning the combs is easy and the handle fits your hand good for a good grip. The motor is powerful enough that it does not get bogged down and it can be used for long and thick beard hair. The shave is comfortable and I have not received any nicks even on the lowest setting. It is made by a trusted brand and additional accessories can be easily bought online or at major retail stores. The instructions are clear and easy to understand and it is ready to go out of the box for charging and use. It is just heavy enough for durability, but not too heavy for frequent use. I plan to use this daily for trimming my beard and weekly for cutting my head hair.

The Multigroom 7000 is a Great All Around Trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do you cut your nose hairs often but only need to trim your side burns sometimes? This is a great trimmer to have. Do you need to trim your beard, shave your body hair, and do everything? This trimmer will do it! Do you travel and always bring a trimmer and/or nose trimmer? Throw the 7000 with the included bag and bring all the attachments with you. The Philips Multigroom 7000 is truly all around great trimmer. The most important question is….. how does it cut? Like butter running through your hair. It cuts as advertised with “precision”. No pulling, no scratches, just a clean overall cut. The 7000 is fully washable. After making a mess or using it for a simple shave task, run it under that faucet for a good wash. The 7000 comes loaded with attachments that you will surely find the one that fits your needs. From body hair guards and nose hair trimmers to precision trimmers/shavers. The device makes it so easy to swap out heads you simply just click one attachment off and click another off. Literally, over 20 attachments. This makes it great for at home and for on the go. The trimmer does comes with a handy dandy bag which is made of high quality material to store all the attachments, trimmer, and charger. Finally, the 7000 is equipped with a lithium-ion battery with up to 5 hours of charge which is great for a trimmer.

Great trimmer!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great quality product. Works well in initial hair and beard cutting. Not a fan of packaging. Everything falls on the floor when you pull out the flimsy plastic holding the parts. The flimsy black storage pouch is useless -- try to find one of a dozen very similar black things inside a crowded tiny black bag. Compared to other models, battery life should be good, but have not tested. Mainly got this model for the alleged 5 hour battery life compared to 1 hour for other models. No, I won't use it for 5 hours running, but I am assuming this battery will be able to hold 10 minutes of charge for more years of use than a "1 hour" battery. I have to admit I've dropped this thing a few times and I'm glad to see it's been durable enough to not break into a bunch of pieces. A flick of the thumb changed the cutting depth on the same guard from 6 mm to 12 mm. The new design is better, smaller, more precise. But it means constantly changing guards as you work around sideburns, beard, and neck areas. Overall, I would highly recommend the Philips Norelco Stainless Steel Multigroom All-in-One Trimmer to anyone in need of a reliable, high-quality grooming tool. It has exceeded my expectations and has quickly become a staple in my daily routine.

All around great electric trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having owned many razors over the years, I had an opportunity to get this new Norelco razor. The first thing you'll notice is the weight of the unit. It's pretty solid, made out of plastic and metal. I wish the form factor for this razor was a little more ergonomic. Although it doesn't really need to look pretty to get the job done. Included with the razor is an assortment of various trimming accessories. There seems to be everything one would need for grooming. The carrying case leaves a lot to be desired. It's basically a bag with a tie off that the accessories are thrown into. The razor holds a charge without any issues, however battery longevity can vary based on usage. I don't groom every day so I'd imagine I could get by with only needing to charge it once a month. If it's anything like current toothbrush battery life I'll be happy. The price point for this razor is great. You get a very high quality razor with multiple accessories that should suit almost anyone with any kind of hair style.

Good Trimmer, but with Odd Compromises
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My older Philips Norelco multi groomer tool was starting to fade out, so I wanted to pick up a newer version. Overall, this thing has some nice features with, frankly, some bizarre trade-offs. The kit itself comes with: - Multi tool razor - Hair, precision, and nose groomer attachments - USB A charging cable with NO BRICK - Various Head Guards with angle guards - Body Guards - Beard Guards - Eyebrow Guards On face value, this little thing appears to pack a punch. I've been using the bears, nose, and precision pieces frequently, and use the wider-toothed hair clipper attachment to clean up the hair on the back of my neck. My hairstyle is too long for the other head guards to be of any use. Here's my main gripe with this thing, for years, I've trimmed my beard using the 8mm guard attachment that has been pretty much standard on any Norelco product I've owned... except this thing. The beard guard is adaptable, meaning you can select how much or little to leave, and it stops at 7mm. The next attachment that comes with this is a non-adjustable 9mm piece. They go from 7-to-9 with no logical reason. Color me picky, but it seems like such an odd and arbitrary thing to leave out. My other main gripe is that Norelco didn't include a power brick with this, just a USB-A to double prong cable. Again, I've used Norelco products exclusively over the years and something I appreciated was the standard 2-prong power cable worked with all their products. Now, with this thing, the placement of the 2-prongs is different, so I can't use the 3 Norelco power cords that I have. I don't have a USB outlet in my bathroom and don't plan on dropping the $50 to add a GFCI certified one in my bathroom. So when I need to charge this thing, I leave it on my nightstand, using the same power brick that charges my iPhone. With those 2 issues out of the way, I've actually enjoyed using this trimmer. It's a small trimmer that is strong and versatile enough to go from trimming a beard, edging my mustache under my nose, trimming nose hairs, you name it. I'm probably not the target market for this product because I really don't need or use the hair attachments.

Great Trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't believe how good this trimmer is. It has a brushed stainless steel body with a rubber over mold at the grip. It's not round, not square, but a kind of trapezoidal shape that fits nicely in the hand. The rubber grip provides excellent control. I was surprised by the weight, too. In a world full of plastic junk, having something weighty and metal and seemingly built to last is rare. This thing just feels right in the hand. I went through the attachments and they seem to be just a standard plastic. Nothing exceptional. They won't break if you drop one, but I wouldn't try to force them in any way. There would be no need to though, because they go on and off the trimmer quite well. A bit stiff at first, but as you use them, they should be just fine. When attached, they are solid. No movement or play in them at all. You get several cutter heads with it. There is a wide width cutter for trimming hair, which includes several guards. Two of which being taper guides for around the ears. There is the standard width cutter with guards for different lengths, plus one for eyebrows, and two for body hair. There is a narrow width detail trimmer. This trimmer cuts almost to the very tip of the blade, while the two wider blades will only cut down to around a millimeter with no guard attached. This would be great for ears and under the nose. There is a micro foil shaver attachment that seems to work well, though it's only about an inch wide. I wouldn't toss out your razor for it. Lastly there is a nose hair trimmer. It's quite a bit better than other nose hair trimmers I've used, even single purpose trimmers designed for nose hair only.

A quality and great trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The philips norelco multi groom 7000 is a great option if you are looking for a complete trimmer. Fast charge (one hour) and superlight have plenty of attachments to address all your trimming needs. I love, notably for bear and head projects, where several repetitions and accuracy are more significant, how comfortable and light feel in your hand. A charge can, according to the manufacturer, do up to 5 hours of work. With a nose trimmer and a shaver, plus the detail trimmer, the two key attachments for large and medium works are the regular and extra wide trimmers. You can think of small and large surfaces with a very effective and silent operation. Additionally, with more than a dozen guards, you can address any work no matter your initial skills or trimming requirements. I recognize that the most difficult with so many options is to recognize the attachments. A final “but”. I have a previous Norelco generation and I always loved their storage bag, not too fancy but sturdy enough to keep all your tools organized and easily accessible. This time the bag is just a soft bag where all your equipment just feels rattling and forces you to empty the entire bag to select the right attachment. I recommend it.
