Great Shaver!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first electric/wireless shaver I've ever liked using daily. The construction is fairly light weight, and only comes with a charging cable, the blades already attached, and a cover. That's right, no bulky cleaning station or random cleaning settings for this unit. It's also the first electric shaver I've used, that I absolutely love. The battery lasted an entire week while traveling, and didn't require a charge. I'm on day 6, and it's still going strong with each session only being about 2-3 minutes. Considering that I only shave a small area around my face (I have a beard), this was pretty GREAT for my daily use while traveling. The fact that it doesn't weigh a lot, makes it easy to use without fear of fatigue. The shave result is pretty great, but you'll probably find it struggle to shave all the hair in some razor bump areas. However, all other areas of my face, where it was used, got a close clean shave. I was surprised not to feel any hair pulling, as has been the case with my previous attempts at using similar shavers. Overall, this is a pretty great shaver, with no fancy settings to apply or bulky charging base. This is an easy recommendation for me!

Great Shaver, Great Price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Phillips Norelco 2500 checks all the boxes for what I was looking for in an electric shaver, and at a very reasonable price. A full charge takes only 1 hour and will give you 45 minutes of shave time. And, you can shave while charging. Though this is not a wet shaver it does allow for cleaning under the faucet. This makes cleaning fast and effective. There is a button at the front of the shaver that pops open the top for easy access to the blades. There is an easy to read indicator light in the front that tells you when you need a charge, when you are charging and when it is fully charged. The shaver is surprisingly light yet well built. The design and materials used allow for a solid grip while shaving. This is also the quietest electric shaver I have ever used. Most importantly the shave is close, smooth and comfortable. Along with the shaver you get the charging cable, a protective cap for the blades, a travel/storage pouch and instruction manual. I would highly recommend this product

Posted .Hi Jamie,
Thank you for writing us a feedback about your Norelco Shaver. How unfortunate to hear that you are not a fan of the product, and that you find it to be needing to charge every often. We highly recommend reading the user manual once again to learn about its charging specifications, and kindly ensure that you are fully charging your device with the correct duration. Please also ensure that your groomer is regularly cleaned every after use, so you do not find it dull on your next shaving session.

Takes some getting used to
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have shaved with a disposable razor for many years now. You can't just change from a disposable to an electric and have it work well the 1st time. I don't shave on a daily basis and my whiskers tend to be thin so it took some time for me to adjust to an electric razor. After using only the electric razor for a month, my face has adjusted to it and I now get a nice close shave. No more cuts or burns from the disposable. This razor is easy to clean, gets good life off of a charge, and gives a nice close shave. If you're new to an electric razor, give it some time and your face with adjust to the change just fine.

Not a bad shaver for the price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The packaging is the best I have seen as far as ease of opening and getting the product out. Truly effortless. As far as the product itself lightweight, comfortable in the hand, water-resistant easy to clean. Does a good job even on three to four-day growth. Those are the positives. Negatives are it does not come with a cleaning brush even though you can rinse it off with water to clean it, the long charge time for short run time( 8 hours to fully charge for a 40-minute run cycle) at least that is what the documentation claims for the specs. Overall I would recommend this as it is an inexpensive but good electric razor. Not sure if I would go back to traditional shaving methods as I need to give it more time to get used to. This does take some getting used to even the instructions recommend giving it about 3 weeks to get used to using it. There does seem to be a feeling of friction burn after you're done shaving. That feeling goes away after about an hour. This may be the reason they recommend giving it some time, to allow your skin to get 'tougher'.

great affordable shaver
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Norelco shaver has the traditional 3 head rotary cutting design of all Norelco electric shavers since the sixties. The patented lift and cut design implemented in the 80's has helped propel Norelco to be one of the best electric shavers on the market. You can rest assured that Norelco is continuing to put out a good quality shave, with increased features and battery life, every year. The 2300 can provide 40 minutes of use, off of a full charge, 5 minutes more than the previous model. While aesthetically the razors don't look much different, this model has an increased pivot angle for the heads over the last Norelco I bought a few years ago. The pivoting heads make it easy to maneuver the blades around the contours of our faces. Keep in mind that to get a good shave from any electric shaver, the shaver should glide over the face with minimal pressure against your skin. Dragging the electric razor across your face with a lot of pressure, causes the razor to miss a lot of hairs, while they are being pushed and forced down. After 2 days of uncut whiskers, the Norelco 2300 was able to cut everything, leaving a smooth clean shave across my whole face. This model does not have the battery level indicators, that some of Norelco's more expensive models do, but it does have the same shaving capabilities. The motor puts out a small hum when on, I usually listen for the changes in the sound to help me know when it is going to need another charge, or additional cleaning while using it. I do like the fact that this shaver came with the flip out sideburn/mustache trimmer, as my last model did not. Another new feature is that, the heads stay attached to the body of the razor, when opened for cleaning. This makes it easier to keep track of the parts, and not lose or break them. It's very easy to just rinse out all the shaving debris with cold water, in less than a minute. This razor will definitely get the job done, at an affordable price.

That was quite a close shave.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There’s not a tremendous amount to get in to with this. It’s an electric shaver and it does exactly what it’s designed to do. Been looking to replace my ancient Norelco trimmer that’s held up well for a very long time now. Only thing needing replacing is the blades, which are hard to find and not cheap anymore. I wanted something inexpensive and that was similar. I like how this has the included trimmer on the back which is handy for those needed touchups. I do have a dedicated Norelco Trimmer for the more detailed work. This will be great for portability as well. It’s a fair bit slimmer than my old Norelco shaver. Though it does as good if not a better job with delivering a nice smooth clean shave. It’s no straight razor, but it more than gets the job done. Battery life is more than adequate. I find it unlikely I’ll ever hit that 45 minute runtime. I do like that they’re sticking with a charger that can work across multiple Norelco products so I only need to have the one plugged in and I can charge either the trimmer or shaver at my convenience. I do also like the design of this as it’s much easier to grasp without getting uncomfortable after long use. Aside from all that, if you’re in the market for a new shaver and want to stay within a certain budget, I’m sure that this will please for years to come.
