In exchange for the safety, you get an overall poor shave. The OneBlade does require periodic blade changes, and since it doesn’t cut hair as closely, I have to use it more often, negating any advantage it might have had over disposable razors on cost or frequency of blade changes. And since I have to shave more often with the OneBlade, there is no gain in convenience either. If you know you like to use an electric razor, I suspect the OneBlade is highly cost-competitive against other electric razors and provides similar results. On the other hand, if you are looking to improve on the cost/convenience of disposable razors, don’t bother with OneBlade. Try the Leaf or Twig razors instead.
