Was considering the $40 version but I really wanted the "14 length settings from 0.4 - 10mm" so I sprung for the Pro version. So glad I did. This thing is amazing when it comes to adjustable grooming. I tried using the bare blade on my face and neck and it doesn't cut close enough like my other Philips Norelco shaver. I mainly got this for my sideburns, using the attachment. It's perfect... but note the settings from 1 on down are very short. I have another body groomer that has a plastic attachment for #1 and the #1 on this cuts muuuuuch shorter. So beware. Start with a bigger number, just so you don't lose your hair! My only complaint is that sometimes it's easy to move the setting of the wheel while shaving. You notice it, so just stop and change it back. But it's a bit scary if you get distracted and don't notice. That's my only advice to the manufacturer... to make it so the wheel is not so easy to move. It's small, lightweight, and charges so fast I couldn't believe it. This thing is awesome. Oh, and while I didn't try, it's obvious by its design that you should keep it away from your nether regions... so don't get too creative, guys.
