This is, hands down, the BEST solution to facial grooming I have ever invested in. It POWERS through shaving and trimming. Utterly amazed at how well this shaver just works. I used to have a huge problem with razor burn, but with this I can finally move past it. Couldn't be happier with this product. Telling all my pals about it!

About me: I am an IT guy and a part-time college professor. I have been using electric razors for 30+ years. For me, the 3- or 4-blade, flat electric razors never shave close enough, and the rotary razors tend to pull my 2-day stubble. So I have always used 2 razors - first I shave with a flat-style Remington, and then I finish up with a Norelco rotary. YMMV, but for me, doing that works great. Now to review this product. When I saw five 5-star reviews, I suspected something was amiss, and I was right. Five will get you twenty that the guy who said this razor left his face as smooth as a baby's bottom works for Philips Norelco, because this razor is awful at leaving your skin smooth. Pros: Even though the blade is small, shaving is fast It does not leave razor burn, it does not pull at longer hairs like a rotary razor does, and it's great for trimming/shaping facial hair. Cons: It's awful as a "normal" razor. For me, that's actually OK, because it will replace my 3-blade, flat-screen Remington. I'll just finish up with my rotary, just like I always do. Cons, cont'd: the instructions say to not leave it plugged in for more than 24 hours. WTF? I have always left my razors plugged in 24/7. Cons, cont'd: It does such an awful job of "getting close" that it cannot be used as a stand-alone razor.

I use it all the time for trimming my facial hair. Excellent product that's easy to use and simple to clean.

I used to hate shaving but ever since i got this i dont mind them as much anymore. And also no more razor burns!!

Bought as a Christmas gift so no actual use of the product but looks well made.

This trimmer has changed my life! Before shaving was a chore and took me a very long time. Therefore I'd procrastinate and wait to shave, further extending the time it takes to shave. After about a month without shaving I finally picked this up and I was done in a flash. You aren't going to *as* close as a shave as you would with something like a Mach 5, but it's surprisingly close for this type of shaver. Plus you get done in literally 1/8th of the time. So glad I got this!

The trimmer is very easy to use and doesn't really have any downsides. It's much closer than most trimmers but not nearly as close as any sort of razor.

Recently upgraded to the one blade and haven't regretted it at all. Very easy to use and doesn't irritate my skin.

I was excited to try this out. I hate shaving with a blade as it takes forever! This gave me a super close shave, even when I thought it might not. I don't think I will ever buy another razor again! Great price! I bought 2! This left me as smooth as, well you know the rest.

I have been trying to find this product for the past 15 or so years. If I use a blade or electric razor, guaranteed razor burn. The only thing I've ever been able to use is a beard trimmer which doesn't get close.... at all... This thing is amazing. Visually as close as a blade but not close enough to cause razor burn. I'd have paid $100 for this thing. Your research is done here, buy it.

Just picked one up today. Works great but you will not get a close shave like a razor gives you, but close enough not to notice. Smal but easy learning curve on how to use it. It works better when you go against the grain.as stated in the instructions. No need for shaving cream or gel and no razor burn. I just need to see if the blade actually lasts for 4 months like it's claimed on the package. If it does, the $14.99 blade replacement will be worth it.

I have been looking for a blade alternate for years. All the other solutions available in the market are expensive, bulky, not very face friendly....When I saw the advert for this product, I had to check it out. I am glad I did - My 5 day rubble was decimated in 5 minutes flat and with no razor burns. The only test remaining is to check how it performs with gels/ under water....
