We bought this for my brother-in-law. He hasn't used it yet, but I have had one for about a year and it is great. If you are patient to learn how to do it right, you can basically do a regular shave with it. Or, use the attachments (they still cut very close/short!) for a different look, or trim whatever other hair you want!

I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about this razor but I decided to try it out. I saw the ads and the commercials and figured it was worth a shot. It actually works really well. My only knock on this razor is that since it is electric and it is vibrating a bit it does send the hairs around a lot which creates some fun cleanup after. It also could use a slightly larger blade overall but I am happy with it. Makes it pretty easy to shave off my facial hair and I consider my facial hair to be pretty thick.

Love it. Easy to use and works well. Wonderful addition to my beard grooming repertoire.

The best electric trimmer I have used. It get really close to the skin and it can be used wet or dry with shaving cream or not. Very versatile. I highly recommend this.

I ended up buying this for my bf for his new job, since they told him he couldn’t keep his facial hair. And it was costing him $20 a week to get a barber to do it. Glad to say he’s been using it every weekend.

Easy to use to keep goatee trimmed. Gets a nice close shave, and the option of using it in the shower is great

I purchased this shaver to extend the life of my 3 blade disposables and it is working great. I hate to shave, so that if I go a week and then use my disposable, I get one use from it. Using the Phillips Norelco gets my beard/stubble down very close so that I can get 4 or more shaves from my disposable razors. Also, I see that the replacement Norelco blades are expensive so I hope that they last.

Great Battery life, Absolutely water proof, easy to hold and hang on to. My only complaint is the razor head, the part that shaves hair dulls pretty fast and has to be replaced pretty often. If used daily, the head will only stay sharp 30-40 days. Replacing the head every month will get a little costly. If Phillips wold develop a shaving head that lasted 3 months, it would make this razor great ! But they would make less money, hmmmmm

I always hated buying razors. And needed something to edge with. And i have long beard so all razors would not work. But this can take care of long hard no problem.

I have 5 trimmers somewhere in the drawer,some are expensive and some are cheap,the only thing that connect them all is that they are useless.For a long time I was looking for a trimmer that provides close trim/shave and doesn't ruin my beard.Philips Norelco - Oneblade Wet/dry Trimmer does it perfectly, and I bought a second blade for armpit and jock areas.No razor burns,no cuts and no ingrown hairs.Thank You Philips!

I was looking for a razor that would trim beards and came across this one. After reading through the reviews, I was floored by the low price. Picked one up and charged it up, waiting for it not to live up to all the positive reviews. I couldn't have been more wrong! It is a great beard trimmer. Lightweight and easy to use. It has replaced an electric trimmer as my main razor. The only reason I took off a star is it usually needs 2 or 3 passes to do a decent job. Not a huge deal. Highly recommended.

I bought this because it was Norelco and I have never had a bad Norelco shave product! It is interesting and a little messy when used dry as it sheds all that you shave onto your shirt! BUT....I haven't used it wet and so I believe in the shower has to be the best! NO mess and no shedding! Trust me ! It truly lives up to the Norelco name. Try it, I think you'll like it! IT MIGHT ALSO BE GOOD FOR GIRLS LEGS????

Best beard trimmer close shave razor last for a while and good battery life.

Honestly if you travel a lot or forget and to shave and need it for last minute situation then this is for you, but you shave on a daily then this product doesn't get you the cleanest shave you'd expect.

Simple ez to use. Blade has lasted 2 months. No issues. Picked up a 2nd one for my brother.

Haven't used an electric shaver with a foil shaving surface in AGES (NEVER really gave a close shave, and the foil always seemed to tear at the most inconvenient time...while shaving for a 'special occasion'), but saw this unit that had a disposable foil shaving surface AND a super close edger, perfect for lining sideburns and trimming mustaches. Love that you can use it while showering, and with/without shaving cream! The one small drawback....seems like no matter which way I use it (wet, dry, foam or no foam), I need to go over the area I'm shaving 2 sometimes 3 times before it looks evenly shaved, if I don't there are areas that have longer stubble than others!! I took growth patterns into consideration, even softened up the stubble with a warm wash cloth and beard oil, and still had to make multiple passes with blade. (I'm a licsenced barber/hairdresser, and tried every trick in the book! Lol). With all that said and done, still will use it when I travel, but not if I'm in a hurry!! I will totally be letting my younger male clientele know about the "Oneblade", great stocking stuffer or gift for the guy on your list this Christmas!!

Does such a great job I know longer use a razor blade. Battery life is excellent!
