It works great on long beard, does not trim too well if beard is really short.

I bought two of these trimmers for my oldest boys and they have already used them to trim up their shaggy beards!

I picked up this little number because it was half off and a co-worker vouched for it. It did a fine job around my nose with my mustache, but when I got into the meat of my lumberjack beard the razor couldn’t cut through. This would do a fine job for a very short beard/stubble, but real beards should stay away.

I haven't used a regular razor since purchasing this. It trims very close and is super fast. The included guards are also great for areas that might be a little more sensitive/areas where you don't want a super close shave.

Where has this been all my life! I am a guy who goes full shaved dome and face every day.... and it was painful before this! It shaves really close, and though it will never completely replace a blade, it certainly does it more conveniently with darn near the same result.

I love this razor. It's quick and simple and holds a charge for plenty of Shaves. I don't think the blade wear indicator is accurate but replacement blades last several months for each

Bought one for each of my older teen sons. They love them! Said there is no snagging of the hair and it does not irritate the skin. They use their OneBlade razors in the shower and at the sink and have said they work great. Worth the money.

This trimmer is smooth. It's super smooth. It blows away the other trimmers I've had in this department. It also does a good job of cutting the hairs close to your skin. The two drawbacks for me are you must go slow and there are only a 1, 3, and 5 level attachable guards. I would prefer a 2 as well. Overall a solid purchase.

I stopped shaving with a blade years ago. My hair and beard are curly and a blade-close shave results in ingrown-hairs that get infected, particularly on my neck. So I've used an electric shaver instead., I bought this Norelco Trimmer just to trim my sideburns straight. It turns out that this gadget can be used just like a blade razor to shave with, wet or dry! It shaves as close as an electric (maybe closer) but not enough to result in ingrown-hairs. It's faster than an electric and even faster than a blade because I don't use shaving cream. Just a splash of "Williams Lectric Shave" (which smells nice and lubricates the skin) and start shaving! I rinse the hairs off under the faucet, just like using a blade. I like it so much that I bought a second one to have at work and a third one to leave at the cabin! Fabulous gadget, and if the blades last 4 months as advertised, it probable saves money over a blade razor.

Replacement blades are costly and they worn out quickly. Considering this maximum acceptable price is about $10.

I have been using this for a while and have found it to be excellent for sensitive skin. I haven't experienced any razor burn as of yet. If you can pick it up on sale during black friday I would definitely say go for it.

I bought this trimmer for my husband. He uses only electric shavers and this trimmer is a very good addition to his daily routine, as he said to me. This trimmer is very sharp and a blade lasts for a very long time.

I purchased 200$ razors before and I use this over them. I use this daily as it gives me a real shaving feel without the mess and time commitment. You can use this wet or dry! The razor is priced great and I'd recommend it as a gift for any man! I love this thing.

I was tired of shaving with a razor every other day so I decided to try the Philips Norelco One Blade out. It was exactly what I needed to easily manage my facial hair without the hassle of using a razor. It will pay for itself in the long run!

Most things like this are cheaply made, these seemed to be well put together.
