Nice Trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've been using this trimmer over the last 4 days and its a nice little razor. Nice to edge up around my ears and the side of my mouth. This razor is actually a little more powerful than I thought it was and it didn't take long to charge it. It has lasted over the last 4 days without needing a charge yet. Now it's not designed for getting that baby-bottom smooth shave but rather for trimming up to keep you're mustache and beard tamed at different lengths that can be achieved with the attachment. Solid purchase and pretty straightforward in using it. You can also use it in the shower, although I tend to keep electric devices outta the shower, lol. All in all though its a solid buy.

Great Trimmer for Home and Travel
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great trimmer for both home and travel. It's very small and the charge holds a long time. I just took it out of town for 4 days and it never even came close to needing a recharge. The charging stand helps with that. I was able to keep trim and keep my sideburns straight while traveling (A pet peeve of mine) with barely 1-2 minutes every other day. It also works well for trimming around your ears, which I know that it's not intended for. My hair sticks out as it gets longer when wearing my sunglasses and this helps trim it back just enough.

Good product
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The One Blade is a solid all around work horse. By this I mean it is sort a hybrid between an electric shaver and a haircut style trimmer. It really suits my needs and I was really impressed with it right out is the box. The blade itself cuts very close. Not as close as an electric shaver, but pretty close. It leaves you with the 5 o’clock shadow basically and not much more. That is with the blade alone. With the attachments you get a pretty even cut, but being that my facial hair is pretty curly I have to make several passes. This is typical for me so I am not surprised at that. The one think I like the most about the shaver is that it is very forgiving. By that I mean you can put your finger against the moving blade and not get cut. That won’t happen with most hair trimmers that cut this close. The only con I have is the stability of the head of the trimmer. By this I mean when you want a precision trim sometimes you want the head of the trimmer to be locked. I personally like this vice having it mobile. The One Blade moves ain’t will contour to your face or whatever part you are trimming. Unless you use the adapter you don’t get the locked blade effect. That said, it’s a minor personal preference and not a deal breaker by any means. The battery life is awesome and the charging station works really well and doesn’t tip over. All and all a solid product and one worth the price for sure. I would recommend it for sure.

Not too close
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A fun little clipper. This trimmer does an ok job of cutting. The battery life is super long. It mentions it can be used to cut your stubble like a razor, but it definitely isn't meant to shave close. The size is just about right to do good edging and trim necklines. I would recommend it for the quick cuts. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a close shave.

A very nice twist and a welcome change in a razor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am that person who cannot stand having 3 or 4 different "tools" for basic haircare. I use an electric trimmer for my hair, and a different one for my other hair things like neck trimming and such, then another to shave each day, and have one for when I let my face hair grow too long for the razor. Well, this solves all of that with a single tool. And I have wondered if someday this would happen - I'm glad to say this works, and it works well. I've shaved with it directly against my skin without any issue at all. It has 2 sides, so that I would expect this would last at least 4 months, I'm assuming it will last longer. But with the single adjustable attachment, you can set the height and go - be it the hair on your head (can take awhile though, it is a narrow blade compared to traditional hair trimmers), your sideburn hair, neck hair, or remove the attachment and shave. It provides a very decent and close shave, similar to that of other electric razors. I like the design, solid feel, and I really like the digital readout of how much battery power is left (in a percentage). There is a charging stand, or you can simply plug the transformer into the bottom on the razor and charge it without needing the stand. By far, my favorite razor and trimming tool, all in one simple easy to use package. Even if I need more blades, I'll welcome not having so many different tools taking up valuable space in the bathroom vanity.

One word - WOW.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disclaimer - I received this product in exchange for my fair and honest opinion. I'm going to make this review short and sweet, because the Philips-Norelco OneBlade Pro is just nothing short of awesome. It does a great job of not only trimming and grooming facial hair, but also shaving facial and other body hair. The Pro version has several advantages over the standard version - a quick-charging lithium ion battery with twice the battery life of the standard version, a display to show how much battery life remains (by percentage), and less tacky device styling. It also comes with a removable blade guard that's adjustable from 0.4mm to 10mm and actually locks into place. It also comes with a docking station to make charging simple and keep the OneBlade Pro close at hand, as it looks at home on your bathroom vanity top. For travel, it also comes with a handy pouch that you can toss into your suitcase or carry-on. Replacement blades are also inexpensive and long-lasting - two blades normally run about $25 and last 4 months with daily use. There's nothing bad I can say about the OneBlade Pro. It's one of those things that just lives up to the hype that surrounds it. I don't just recommend this - I whole-heartedly recommend this. If you want one tool that can shave and trim, this is it.

Overall Decent Product
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Philips Norelco - OneBlade Pro Wet/Dry Trimmer is an interesting product. It's not meant to be an everyday shaver, instead more of a trimmer and stylist of your beard and mustache. The unit itself is lightweight but feels a tad cheap with all the plastic parts, but for the price point that can be expected. It charges fairly fast and has a digital screen to show charge capacity. The trimmer itself holds its battery for quite some time. I only use it for about 5-10 minutes at a time, after about a week or so of doing this I still had well over a half a charge. You can make minute adjustments by turning the dial to the height you prefer. It doesn't get as close as a razor, but it does a great job in a pinch. I like the fact that is has international compatibility. Also the wet/dry option is nice as well. The only downside I really don't like about the trimmer is the fact that the blade itself needs to be replaced every few months. All in all I would recommend this product to someone who's looking for a small portable trimmer/shaver that will work on your 5 o clock stubble but not necessarily give the full shave of a razor.

Hard To Describe but Still Surprising
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have ever used a micro trimmer, this feels like one on steroids. You won't get a blade close shave, you shave against the grain. On your neck, this can be tricky if your hair lays in multiple directions. The shave is closer than an electric razor. It takes a bit of time to get use to shaving in reverse. Trimming feels normal. Shaving, not so much. I would highly recommend using a cream or lotion, you get a little better shave due to the cream holding the hair upright. DO NOT push hard against your skin, you will get a pretty harsh razor burn. This works really well on longer hair, more than a days growth. I am not sure how it will work on very coarse or thick hair. It seems like it will work pretty well. I have yet to use the trimmer comb. It is well designed, but I like to keep my hair a little longer than it is designed for. This is really great at trimming stray hairs, I am sure I will put a wedge in my beard by accident one day... But free form trimming is a challenge no matter what you use. I would recommend with a warning about it not working well on flat laying hair.

It's about time y'all!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wish they had created this one first. They've all been good - the original with no guards followed at some point by the one with guards that constantly fell off during use and now this one. Finally, one in which the guards stay on and the shave height is easily adjustable. Th initial price tag ($70) was a barrier to purchase, but the lowering to $40 made it well worth it. As always, the OneBlade has been easy on my skin and done a fairly good job of helping me avoid razor bumps. My skin is medium brown and when I look in the mirror, I say to myself that I'm just as good-looking as Shemar Moore even if none of the ladies recognize. Ha-ha. Ok, anyway... I was concerned that it might not go low enough to give me the little-more-than-a-five-o'clock-shadow look that I desired. But to my surprise, the setting of 1.5 was perfect with several closer-shave settings to spare. Really, it's "perfect" but nothing ever really is... thus the 4 rating. Keep it up Norelco. You got a winner here!

good not great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will start with I don't have a beard so results may differ. This provides a great up close shave without razor burn or having to change a blade often. I use shaving cream. I recently started trying for more of a stubble look 1.5-3 mm which this is okay at. I like that I can dial in a length and go. The problem is it takes forever for it to be even. Like I said before I don't have a great beard so maybe that is the problem but it just doesn't do well I do this without shaving cream of course. It is also a little weird in your hand. love the battery level. I am sure for guys with a real beard this is amazing. I ended up buying a trimmer from Norelco which does a much better job faster.

Good Facial Hair Trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Philips Norelco OneBlade Pro serves a simple purpose but is a good tool for quick trimming of facial hair. The precision trimming comb is easy to use as turning the dial marks the amount of length you want left in mm from 0.4 to 10mm. The trimmer has a great 90 minute battery life and comes with a charging base. Philips Norelco has quick charging technology in the OneBlade Pro and I was able to get a full charge in under 20 minutes. The battery life is displayed right on the handle above the power button for a quick glance at how long you have until you need a recharge. The trimmer is water resistant so you can take it with you in the shower. Overall, I really enjoyed the trimmer for the purposes of accurately trimming to the length I want with the precision trimmer. I believe that without the trimmer the single blade is not very good a producing a clean shave. It will not get all the hairs which is a bit frustrating but the trimmer is what makes this product worth it.

Very good so far!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good little shaver/trimmer. I use it mostly for "clean up" work, after shaving with my regular electric shaver, and it does a good job. The battery life is great. Blade could be a bit sharper but it's good enough for most purposes.

A Great Travel Razor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being able to shave in either direction is what initially attracted me to this razor, and it is am amazing feature, making it easy to ensure a close shave and clean lines, no matter what direction your hair grows in. This is especially valuable if you have areas where your hair grows in more than one direction. Keep in mind that this razor isn't designed to shave as close as some other razors, so if you aren't managing a beard, 5-o'clock shadow, or anything like that, this probably isn't the razor for you. It is designed for beard management, not close shaves. Being cordless is a major plus for the Oneblade Pro, making it easy to travel with or take in the shower with you. The battery is slated to last 90 minutes on a single charge, meaning you can leave the charger behind for work trips, knowing you'll have plenty of time on a single charge for a week-long trip.

Good Trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice trimmer for the price. It does not, however, provide a very close shave if you have heavy whiskers. My husband has to shave every day because of work. It did an OK job but it wasn't a very close shave. To do trimming, though, it's great. I was able to do touch ups with stray hairs on the back of the neck between haircuts. I would imagine that, if you have a beard, this would be great for those types of trims. I also tried it on my arms and legs. It did a pretty good job on those as well, though that hair isn't as course as beard hair. This is a good trimmer for on-to-go quick touch ups. The battery has considerably long life as well. I charged it about a month ago, and it's still around 80% charged (though we don't use it daily).

Great Shaver
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is easily the best shaver I've ever used. It doesn't cut so closely the skin is irritated, but allows you to get a defined edge along the jaw line. The battery, instead of older Philips shavers, last much longer.

Unlike any other trimmer!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This trimmer is unlike any other that I have ever used! Right out of the box I plugged it into the charger and it went from 0-100 in a matter of minutes. I do not know the exact time but I believe it was less than an hour. It offers a really nice clean cup shave. The only thing that must be mentioned is that it leaves a little stubble. It was much less then I expected though which is good. It’s about as close to a clean shave as you’ll get without using a razor. My only gripe is that it is very powerful and throws hair everywhere. So expect to be doing a lot of cleaning after. I think this is one of the best trimmers I have used overall when it comes to getting the best shave.

great beard trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy using this trimmer. when I want to shave this works better then my shaver does (other then using a new blade). and it works well when my facial hair is long. many times I find myself to lazy and go a week without shaving. using a electric razor and it tends to pull at my hair even with using the trimmer part first. what I love about this electric trimmer, is that it does get a pretty close shave so I don't have to re shave. its not the smoothest but good enough for me anyways. or if want a closer shave then ill re go over with a blade or electric razor then. overall very satisfied with this trimmer.

Replaceable blades make this a winner
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They call this a "hybrid", but it's not really a shaver. Well, maybe. The claim is that it will shave to a "5 o'clock shadow", but after skipping a couple of days, it's really more of a 5 o'clock tomorrow. To be used a shaver, it's meant for someone who keeps a closely trimmed beard. That aside, this is an excellent trimmer. The almost infinitely adjustable head makes it easy to give a uniform look to your beard & sideburns. I also like the slenderness of it - you're working a smaller part of your face, and that gives a nicer cut. I've owned a huge amount of these things, and for about $25 each, once it gives me the first "pinch", i know it's time to trash it for a new one. So i welcome the idea of the replaceable blade (yes, blade, not head.) I haven't had it long enough to test the claim of 4 month replacement cycle; however i generally take these claims with a grain of salt and my expectation is to get half that time. I see a 2 pack of blades goes for about $24. The other thing you get by going with the Pro model is a lithium battery instead of a nicad. That's nice not only for longer life, but lithiums will give you the rated voltage over the length of the charge, whereas the voltage on nicads lower as the battery drains. And that means more pinches & jammed blades. I also like the compact setup of it. The bath vanity & shelves are always competing with a hundred different products, so a space saver is always welcome. I do really like the operation of this unit, the reason i didn't give it the 5th star is well within 2 years you're going to double the price of the trimmer in replacement blades. Either the price of the trimmer or the blades needs to come down somewhat to make it an outstanding buy.

Lightweight, well-made, good battery life
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.4Summary: A straightforward, easy-to-use beard trimmer that features good battery life, light weight, and a good-quality adjustable guard for setting beard length. Introduction: My wife has ordered me to retain some sort of facial hair at all times...which is fine with me, because I hate shaving! I've used several beard trimmers over the years, some definitely better than others; this is the third Norelco trimmer I've used, which reflects the overall good luck I've had with the brand. The Good: Trims without aggressively "pulling" on hairs, something that's been a problem with other shavers. Unique blade design means it cuts "coming and going" - which is especially handy when trimming those stray hairs on your cheek or neck. The flat blade system also means you can lay the cutter flat against your skin and slide it along to get a nice, close trim. The adjustable guard has fine increments and does a good job of staying at the set length while trimming, something else that's been a problem with other beard trimmers. It's waterproof, so you could use it in the shower, though I have not done so. Provides a numeric battery level gauge, rather than just a "low battery" indicator, and lets you "travel lock" the trimmer so it doesn't run itself down in your suitcase. The Bad: Mostly minor complaints - uses a non-standard charging port, would be better if it used micro-USB so you didn't have to bring an extra charger with you on a trip. (Several of Norelco's competitors have made this switch already.) Replaceable blades are a little pricey, particularly if you use the trimmer a lot; Norelco says that a blade set lasts "four months" if you do a "complete shave" twice a week.
