Blades work using both sides but finding for the cost the blades could be a little sturdier. Had a couple fall apart while using.

It says they are supposed to last a couple of months but I’ve hAd to change them out at least once a month .

I get 3 cuts out of them before they full. After the 5th they are actually pull hair. A great idea, but not worth the money.
