Cheap, but doesn't work too well

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used electric shavers in the past, and I was never a fan, but given this seemed like a pretty good deal, I thought I'd try one again. So, I've noticed it's pretty much worthless if my beard hair is too long - like longer than a millimeter or two. It leaves patches all over and it takes a long time to try and get all areas. I've tried it again after trimming as short as I can with a beard trimmer, and it worked ok then - getting pretty much to the skin, but still not as smooth as a razor blade. So, given it takes at least as much time to use as a razor blade, but it doesn't work quite as well, I'd call this mostly a bust.
