    I BOUGHT A PHILIPS NORELCO ELECTRIC RAZOR IN DECEMBER 2008. I HAVE BEEN USING IT CONTINUOUSLY SINCE THEN UNTIL JULY, 2016 WHEN I BOUGHT THIS NEW RAZOR. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, DURING THAT TIME, I NEVER REPLACED THE BLADES OR OILED THE RAZOR. TO THIS DAY IT IS STILL WORKING. I BOUGHT A NEW RAZOR, BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO PUSH MY LUCK. I WILL KEEP MY OLD ONE AS A BACKUP. THE NEW ONE IS WORKING FINE. THE ONLY THING THAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT IT IS THAT YOU CAN'T USE IT WHILE THE CORD IS PLUGGED IN. IF THE BATTERY RUNS OUT, YOU NEED TO GIVE IT A QUICK CHARGE BEFORE YOU CAN CONTINUE SHAVING.
