Can't operate by just plug into the power. One needs to charge it up before use. During use it would not charge.

Awesome shave with finer cutters than basic.

Because this model cannot be used except in battery only mode - I decided to get the basic AC only model. It is just my personal preference. If you want the best and finest cutters. Get this model.

Gets the job done, but could be better.

I have now had and used this razor for one year; it gets the job done. The closeness of the shave is not as good as the electric razor that it is replacing. Another thing that I don't like is that if the battery dies, the razor will not work with the cord plugged in, you have to wait until the battery is charged enough to continue.

Pretty solid shaver

I find that this razor does a nice job of not cutting my skin, but just a mediocre job of getting a close shave. If I use a straight edge I can go about 3 days without shaving. With this razor, it's every other day. I do feel like the trade off for not cutting myself is worth it though.
