Tried switching from manual razor. It's ok...not nearly as good as I hoped. Takes at least twice as long as using a razor...and I always find spots it doesn't get. Definitely try a cheaper model first. If this is actually better than a cheaper model...then the cheaper models must really stink.

Terrible customer service. No "real" warranty. Spoke to Philips twice (for 40-50 minutes per call). Twice they agreed to send the part to fix the shaver. Two months later it's still broken. Calls seemed to be forwarded out of the US. This is a very expensive razor that only lasted 18 months. I really liked it and it works well. But it is fragile in some areas when you are taking it apart to clean (which you have to do). Save your money and get a tougher razor from a company with customer service.

I’ve been using this for two weeks and absolutely love it. As a long time blade user, I am amazed at how close this shaves. It gives a shave that is nearly as close as a blade. This is something I never thought possible in an electric razor. The pivoting heads are very comfortable as is the shape of the razor making it also very comfortable and easy to hold. Also love the digital battery indicator. I’ve been able to get one week (7 shaves) on one charge so only need to charge it on the weekends. One drawback is the large charging base. It is probably 3” x 6” and takes up a lot of counter space if left out. At the same time it’s large size makes it awkward to get out and put away each weekend. The razor charges just by sitting on the base (instructions say the base will also charge some phones, but haven’t tried this as no need for it). The razor is very easy to clean thanks to its wet or dry usage. You simply snap off the blades and rinse the unit. Even has an indicator to remind you to rinse it. I have not tried using the razor in a wet environment or with shaving cream. So happy with a regular dry shave that I have not needed this. If you’re in the market for an electric razor, you can’t go wrong with this one.

Good razor just didn’t do the job I needed it too. The hair on my head is too thick to get a clean shave everyday.

I have had many electric shavers and this is by far the best one I have ever had. It is pricey compared the the others I have had, but worth the extra. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. The Q charging is fabulous.

The Philips Norelco - Norelco S9000 Qi-Charge Wet/Dry Electric Shaver is by far the best/advanced electric shaver I have ever owned. Upon opening the package you can tell this shaver is premium. It not only looks good but the materials it is made out of feels good in the hand. It comes with a hard case, nanotech precision blades, Qi wireless charging pad and a smartclick precision trimmer. I particularly like the Qi wireless charging pad, I can just place the unit itself down on the pad to charge wirelessly. A full charge will last about an hour and i take less than 10 minutes to shave so that so that should last me a little over a week without having to charge again. The shaving unit has a digital display to show your settings and battery life. The shave is a close one with this unit with only a couple of passes. You can either shave wet or dry as this unit is also water resistant. Overall this is a sleek shaving unit with one of the best shaves I've had so far and built it wireless charging for convenience.

Doesn't work as good as I thought for the price but still a good product.

Close shave except for mustache area, where it’s harder to turn the blades in a clockwise motion. Also can cut the corners of your mouth if you’re not careful.

Not as good as wet shave. Found that I have to shave more often than with a razer

Not worth the money. I returned this and purchased an Andis Cordless Profoil Lithium Plus Titanium Foil Shaver for $70 and it cuts far better.

Shaving enters the 21st century with wireless charging. The charging pad is fast and easy. The LED display is bright and easy to read. This is what I call a daily shaver, meaning if you shave daily then you will get a close smooth shave. Go a week, I recommend trimming first then shaving. Also if you are new to a rotary shave you will need a period of adjustment for optimal performance. My favorite shaving with the Phillips Norelco is a wet shave in a hot shower. Man that's as close to a straight razer shave for closeness as you can get. Not for dry shaving. Wet your face and you will get a smooth comfortable shave.

Except of the advanced Wireless charging PED it doesn’t represent any breakthrough in actual shaving. Also the wireless charging it’s a misleading concept because the charging ped needs wire connection to wall outlet.

Nice razor but I've another Philips that works just as good for half the cost.

I've never had a Norelco razor or any rotary razor. I've seen them advertised for over 40 years. I decided to finally try one out and I've been incredibly impressed with how the rotary shaver performs. This shaver has quality components as it should for this price point. The feel in your hand is excellent and the ergonomics of the device are excellent. The control switches are perfectly positioned and the feel of operating the switches contribute to the perception that this is a quality product. The feel of rotating shaver blades is excellent and probably better than a traditional foil shaver so I can now understand why rotary shavers are so popular. It almost feels like a ball is rolling over your face as opposed to a foil shaver which can feel like it's cutting through the hair on your face. The only drawbacks I have with this shaver is having to remove the rotary heads to put in the trimmer and cleaning the heads is not as simple as it looks in the product images. I understand how it might not be feasible to locate a trimmer on a rotary shaver that is permanently positioned. Despite that, Norelco has built a quality shaver with their S9000. I also really like the carrying case as I do a lot of traveling. The battery seems to stay charged for quite a long time so that is definitely a plus. If you're looking for a premium rotary shaver, this is an excellent choice for this price point.

This electric razor caused serious breakouts and left dark marks on my skin. I used care using this product. I even used pre shave and post shave balm that specifically fights razor bumps and that was not a help. The product leaves much to be desired after you shave. I had to use an additional electrical t-shaped razor to remove hair that was left after my shave. Now this thing is a paper weight on the vanity. Waste of money!
