I’ve only used it once, so far, after using a beard trimmer to scrape off the week-or-so growth, but I tell you, it was the most comfortable, closest first-shave I’ve ever gotten from a Norelco (which has been my preferred brand since I started shaving with a “double header”). But they’ve gotten *really* expensive. So as great as they are, the “value” isn’t top. Their $300+ shaver would price point better at $200-or-so; and this one would be a great “value” at $150. My Spectrum (some 20+ years ago) was their top of the line, at $95 in 2002 dollars.

My husband loves this razor I bought him! Second one like this he’s had. Great quality, lasts for years.

The Philips Norelco S9000 Prestige is a great electric shaver it is very quiet and shaves very close.

It's excellent for a rotary shaver. I had to stop using a foil shaver, and this is doing great after about a month. I was able to get it for $70 off, so, I'm really happy! I would definitely recommend it over the S9500 because the handle on this one is so much better. Overall, it gives a comfortable shave [not quite as close as a foil] and I think it's worth the money. My only complaint is that the battery runs out much faster than estimates, only lasts about three shaves; however, I have a thick beard.

Best razor that I have ever owned and easy to clean

Extremely happy with this razor. Replaced 15 year old Norelco, this one is quieter, much smoother and easier to clean.

It works better on neck hairs than any Braun I've had. The only issue is shaving your mustache and sideburns are difficult. This doesn't get as close of a shave as the Braun shavers, but overall, it is a better experience.

Best shaver made yet. Use it immediately following a shower and my face is so clean and smooth that I feel like a new man. Easier to clean than older models.

I'm bald and I've tried many other shavers before. Nothing comes close to how this one performs. Clean non-irritating shaves every time. Best if used every day or every other day.

Due to my job, I have to carry this everywhere. It gives me clean face everyday. No regret!

Great product, however, it is really annoying around the mustache and sideburns. This is my first time switching to rotary. Overall, very close, quick, and skin irritant free shave.

I have them all arc5 (2nd best), braun 929 etc…this one shaves the best by far and its the closest. Only downside is the side burn trimmer should be attached to the unit instead of switching the head of the shaver on and off the cleaning pod works but if you leave the shaver in it upside down it doesn’t dry properly.

My husband absolutely loves this razor. Gives him a very close shave and works well on the tougher to reach whiskers, I.e. center mustache area. He has always used Norelco and this one is the best he has ever had.
