Can’t get as close or precise as I’d like. Battery lasts a while though

The Philips Norelco, series 7000 Bodygroom is incredibly versatile. It really surprised me how it well it performed. The 7000 Bodygroom is billed as a 5 zone area of focus. It claims it is good for back and shoulders, chest and abs, underarms and arms, groin and legs. I know it is classified as a bodygroomer, but one area that is not mentioned is the face. I found it puzzling because there is nothing keeping the Norelco Bodygroomer from shaving the face. It has all the necessary parts to shave the face without hesitation. It also has the capacity to trim your hair on your head with the trimmer end. This means of course that after shaving an area, the Bodygroomer should be cleaned thoroughly. The cleaning process only takes a minute to rinse and remove the trim guard and close shave head. It is great that the Bodygroomer is wet/dry, so no need to worry about getting wet. The Norelco Bodygroomer has two ends. One is for close shaves using a pivoting four way head with blades that are rounded for so it doesn’t irritate the skin. The other end has a grooming trimmer that is so easy to move. The trimmer guard comes on and off with little effort. This side has steel blades that sharpen with use. Ergonomically this Norelco Bodygroomer can’t be beat. It is really comfortable and well balanced. It suits easily holding either end. I can’t say enough about this because many times an unbalanced razor is difficult to shave with. The Bodygroomer is also a good looking piece of machinery. Now to the real test is shaving. I decided to go ahead and shave my beard of 3 weeks. I usually grow facial hair, probably at best, the average growth of people I am guessing. I have a blonde and grey beard so it is not as noticeable when I let facial hair grow. Because of the 3 week growth of my beard I shaved with the trimmer side of the Bodygroomer. No pulling or continual retracing your steps with this trimmer. It didn’t take long to get my facial hair more manageable for the other side of the Bodygroomer, the shaver. Again, surprisingly, no hair was pulled and was able to shave my entire beard off and leave a smooth face without razer burn. It really did a great job, quickly and without pulling hair. Shaving the body hair was just as easy. Of course I cleaned the Bodygroomer thoroughly and shaved with the trimmer end. Easy is a word I keep using to describe this Bodygroomer because that is exactly what is, easy to use. The hair didn’t pull, and I was satisfied with the hair it removed with just the trimmer. This can be totally removed to use the straight edge. The last area I tried was my chest. I have some hair on my chest I wanted to get rid of, so I stayed with the Bodygroomer’s trimmer. It was a breeze to cut the hair. Again no pulling of the hair that I keep mentioning. Overall I am very pleased to have used the Philips Norelco Bodygroomer 7000. I was impressed by the ease of use, versatility and wet/dry application. I do believe that this Norelco can cut the hair on the head and face. I enjoyed using this Bodygroomer.

Even more silent than the past version and the battery last longer.

In my opinion, this body shaver does not get as close of a shave as I would like.

This is absolutely terrible and doesn't do what is advertised to do, like usual. How many more times can I be nicked or stabbed using this thing before it actually does what it's supposed to do? Not to mention using the other side where it's told to cut hair deep, it barely does, especially around my body. I'm sick of using it and with the amount of cuts from it, it's not designed for sensitive areas or your body.

Works well but charging port failed after ~10 months.

Does everything you need to trim and groom entire body

Shaver doesn't shave like i had hoped it would u hav to go back an forth to many times to get hair off...

It works, but the shave cuts awkward so it’s hard to tell if it’s cutting sometimes.

The Philips Norelco-Series 7000 Body Groom system is a great deal, priced just right. Out of the box you get the razor, manual, a charger and a cleaning brush – but no stand or travel bag. The directions are easy for use, cleaning and maintaining. It is great for using dry or in the shower but seems to be easier to use in dry mode. Easy to clean under running water and if needed using your brush. Love the rubber grip and the easy to switch and use both sides with the flip of a switch. Really wish it had a stand for it though. Took about an hour to charge and seems to hold the charge for a while – not used daily so that helps. No itchy stubble like with other razors, not cuts or burns either. Has self-sharpening blades and 5 adjustable lengths. Does a great job on armpits, legs and private areas. I would definitely recommend this shaver for anyone.

This was a good trimmer but the series about this in my opinion was better.

Was looking for a body groomer. This is not what I wanted. The foil razer side does not even cut well.

This is my 3rd Norelco product and so far the best trimmer/shaver I ever owned. Very pleasant trimming experience with adjustable trimmer length of 3,5,7,9, 11 and 1 millimeter (1mm with removed sliding adjuster). Self-sharpening stainless steel blades and its unique design makes use very pleasant. 4 directional pivoting shaver head does great job when shaving and on top of all that this device it's water resistant! Battery is fast charge enabled and last long enough to finish your need all at once. For those who travel a lot, this device supports on both 110V and 220V. I was very positively surprised that it comes with 5 years warranty. IT does not have #1 or 2 settings like the 7100 model

I don’t like it much, it’s just like any other brand

I never try to dictate my purchases fully on reviews aside my own experience but this wasn’t it. It truly nicks my hair badly, has cut me very much times and the blades don’t last. All this from my torso down. Didn’t enjoy.
