    I got this body shaver to help keep that man body hair under control. I charged it out of the box, read the instructions and was off to the races. The groomer has two trimming heads on either size of the unit. One head has a foil head with a trimmer on each side. I found the trimming section worked great as a first pass over any areas with longer hair. This did become clogged a number of times and needed to be cleaned until the work was complete. Very east to clean so no problem. Follow this up with the foil shaver and it shaves close. Not as close as a true electric shaver for the face but good enough for shaving the body. I also really liked using this section around the tips of the ears. I swear as I age I am becoming part wolfman! The trimmer with blade guard is handy to shave the areas you want to keep the hair a bit longer. Like in the nether regions. The trimmer is adjustable in 2mm increments from 3mm to 11mm. The directions recommend to start at 7mm. So this is what I tried. I found you need to use different angles to get a uniform cut. This worked fine for what I wanted to do. With two different trimming sections it is very versatile. You can shave very close or just trim to a desired height. Pretty cool design if you ask me. Summary – it is long and sleek which is a blessing and a curse. It allows for the versatile trimming options. It also makes it more difficult to store as you need the space for it. There is no stand or dock to assist in storage. It does the job but needs to be cleaned frequently. It is not hard to clean but you need to stop numerous times to clean it. It is best to trim when dry. I did not get any shaver burn, sensitivity or itching. The Phillips Norelco Bodygroom Series 7000 BG7030 does what it is designed to do. If there was a stand or some sort of storage device I would give it 5 out of 5.

    I bought to shave whole body thinking would be quicker in shower. Shaves quicker dry. Not as close. Quicker to use razor in shower.

It is important that the cutting element or the trimming comb which you are using with your groomer is attached correctly to its body. If the attachments are not placed correctly, the groomer may not work, or give desired results. If you press the groomer too hard against your scalp or skin, you may accidentally change the settings to high or low or apply uneven pressure. This can result in uneven clipping.
      For the best trimming experience, please make sure your groomer is in full contact with your skin and move it gently and steadily. For best results, make sure that you trim your hair against the grain. When trimming your hair, it is important to keep in mind that your hair grows in different directions. Therefore, to get an even trim, try moving your trimmer in different directions (upwards, downwards and across) so that it covers all of your hair. Wet hair is more difficult to trim as they tend to stick to your skin and can be missed by the device. Therefore, we advise clipping your hair when it is completely dry.

    I ordered the trimmer and this literally came in with all the contents of the package a mess. Heres the best part about it though, i took the trimmer out and it was literally used. It had hair through the plastic covering it came in. Disgusting.

    This trimmer is horrible. It trims very poorly and doesn't get the hairs very well. I wish I had never purchased it.

    Won’t hold a charge and is less than a year old. The item was not abused and probably was charged less than 10 total times. Good when it worked but it did not last long.
