This shaver is worth $20. The features for the price is no good.

I returned this item immediately because the instructions said it was not to be used on the head and that is what I purchased it for. I am still waiting for a refund.

There is no 1 guard? Bizarre...They skipped the odd #s. Guard is only 2,4,6.8,10. Save your money and buy a cheap Wahl. There’re just as good.

The Phillips 7000 Body Groomer combines a traditional trimmer with a foil shaver with clipper edges. When you take the unit out of the box you notice the solid feel and balance in your hand. I also like that there are no loose parts to get lost. The trimmer guard is attached and slides/locks at heights from 3mm to 11mm. You can also take it off for a closer trim. The foil end rocks both side to side and front to back to provide a nice cut from any angle. The groomer arrived needing charged. Plugged it in (it uses the same charger brick as my beard trimmer) and it was charged in about an hour. It’s rated to run for about 80 minutes per full charge and I can see getting it. Each end of the groomer has its own switch and only one at a time will work. The trimmer end works great, the blades are sharp and cut through my hair and beard effortlessly. The foil end cut mostly clean swaths on the first pass but needed several more runs to get the shave close. It’s not the closest foil shave I’ve had but its close enough for government work. Even though this is a body groomer, and for that it works great, you can also use it on your face, beard and head. For beard trimming its perfect. For shaving however, the foil end has a large “bezel” around it to allow for the floating action along with the trimming blades on each side, making precision shaving around a beard or goatee difficult. The Phillips 7000 series Body Groomer will be a perfect addition to my travel bag, I would recommend this to a friend.

This razor is a horrible shaver. It doesn't shave close at all and misses large portions of hair. Don't buy.

This razor is junk pulls and tugs, probably on e of the worst ever tried.

Very disgusted with this shaver. The legs shave is very very poor. I don’t recommend this product to anybody.

None yet The Review ---------- I put in on the charger as soon as i opened it, charged for an hour and the battery light indicated that it is full. I am kind of old school, i like to charge any of these before first use. I get a lot of chest hair and before getting this, the way i used to do that is use a hair trimmer, cut all the long hair and then use a shaver (regular razor) to get a closer trim. I think its great that you have an adjustable trimmer and also a shaver. i think the adjustable trimmer can also be used to trim head hair but it is never advertised to work that way. Also, the shaver can be used on the face. The trimmer works well if you dont shave your body hair for a longer duration and you have longer hair, or usually on the underarms. The shaver is swivel so it gives you a close comfortable shave every time. This is a great 2 in one shaver-trimmer and i dont need to carry my hair trimmer every time i go out on vacation and i need to take my shirt off to jump into a pool.

There are better cutting tools out there. I replaced the Manscaped Lawnmower body hair trimmer.

Unfortunately didn’t work. Cheaply made. The older version was a lot better.

Garbage and will never buy anything from Phillips.

As the above states, this is my new favorite trimmer. It has everything I could ever want in a body shaver/trimmer. Past products I've used have always either cut me, pulled at hair (in areas that are... delicate), or simply were inconsistent in hair removal. In comes the Bodygroom 7000. Touting a showerproof, solid grip (even when wet) very versatile shaver and trimmer. Being a shaver and trimmer, it has shaver on one end and a trimmer on the other. Some have mentioned that with this configuration, that this leaves too large of a footprint, since you cannot stand it on either end. While this is true, it really is a trade-off that in my opinion is worth it. And if one considers, you would need two products that this does in one - it actually SAVES space. Onto the performance, I prefer to keep my underarms and groin area shaved. This would previously a rather painful process which would ultimately end in razor burn, or at worse cuts and nicks. Using the trimmer on the 7000 to take care of the major business, and the shaver to make these areas smooth (TMI) resulted in neither of the above mentioned issues. There was no burn, no nicks, no cuts, no itchy stubble. What thrilled me is that I didn't have to make multiple passes (with either end) which I had become used to with other products. Then when done, just rinse off both ends (while unplugged of course) and you are done. It states there is a 80 minute running time - however I cannot fathom a need for that. And prefer to keep it plugged in between uses. Some other cool features to note, are that the blades on the trimmer are self-sharpening (this always is a plus). And a guard that has five length settings from 3mm to 11mm for those that don't want to go all the way down. So if you are looking for a full body hair trimmer and groomer that won't leave you in pain after use - the Phillips BodyGroom 7000 should be your go-to device! I know it's now mine!

Sucked. Returned it. Don't waste your time. Worst shaver ever.

I don't like it. It not what I was expecting. Battery does not last long.

I used to carry separate clippers and shaver of different brands, and they were already at their end of life point (well for the clippers) so I decided on this “two in one” type of men’s grooming appliance. What I would be hoping for is a case included or a protective cover for the shaver part at least. So you’ll just have to improvise storing this in some sort of storage bag. Nonetheless the clippers work well especially with clipper oil (which you’d have to get on your own). I freshly shaved my beard and blades cut like a knife through butter. As far as the shaver part, I see it’s a single blade/foil. I have an old tri-blade/foil shaver that still is ok. In comparison I think this shaver cuts to be the same, and a plus is the mini clippers on each end and the rotating head. For one thing, this uses a lithium ion battery unlike my shaver and clippers so expect long run times.

This is the latest men’s personal grooming device from Philips Norelco. As such, it is a multi purpose body groomer that can be used to shave five different areas of your body. Adjustable trimmer is nice. Don’t have to change attachments. For cordless use only. Li-Ion battery provides up to 80 minutes of run time. Philips claims it has the longest runtime than any other rechargeable battery. It is showerproof. There is an optional grooming app. Five year warranty is good but my experience with this brand is that it should last a lifetime. Local service reps have been good to me for a long time. I only use Philips Norelco and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

The trimmer is excellent for grooming armpits, arms, legs and bikini area. The shaver could possibly be the best one on the market for the price. I’ve read other reviews of people warning not to use it dry on your privates and I have no idea what they’re talking about. Like with all razors, if you’re reckless then you’re guaranteed to knick yourself. I’ve used this thing wet and dry (preferably dry) and have flawlessly achieved smooth unharmed skin. The battery is my only real complaint. The trimmer seems to use a lot more energy than the shaver, so I’ve had to strategize which parts of my body I’ll shave first, given the almost certainty that when I switch to the trimmer I’ll only have seconds before it dies. I can’t bring myself to buy a new one just because of a sketchy battery, it’s still a great functioning device when it wants to be. Despite this issue, I’d still recommend it. So enjoy your smooth silky skin but don’t act surprised if your battery conveniently dies right after the warranty expires.

I have used this trimmer for about a few weeks, the charging was pretty quick. it took about an hour to charge and it was ready for use. The charge lasted about a few weeks with use every other day. The beard trimmer does a nice job shaping your beard and the hair length guard is very durable. It will shape your beard and trim, while not as close as a blade shave it's more like a small stubble. The body groomer side does a much closer shave with the screen and does a good job with longer hair when using the edge blades on the groomer. The grip is very comfortable and I like the rubberized grip which is an improvement from the last model. The tilt head design of the groomer side is very nice for manscaping. A great tool overall.
