This has been a good shaver, but it just died after 4 yrs. My last Norelco lasted over 10 yrs, and I had hoped to get the same life span from this last one - guess not. However, I'll still buy Norelco to replace it.

It is his first electric razor and he found it easy to use but the shave was not that great. It was handy when he needed a quick shave

After 10 years a Braun user, I was in need of a new razor. Dis-satisfied with with my previous purchase, I decided to come back to Norelco. First let me state, in the previous 10 years I would alternate between a razor and and electric.....depending on my mood, since i was unhappy with the Braun. That said, I am happy with my purchase, the $50-$60 range was where I wanted to be and at the time this razor was at the low end of that range. First off the bad: Yes, the recharging of the battery takes 8 hours, but if you time if right it's not a big deal. Recharge it overnight or during the day while your at work.......no big deal, really!! Second, the cleaning brush needs to be re-designed....it's just too short and stubby. That's it........the rest is all good. The shave is close( here's a hint read the booklet it tells you how to use the razor....and it works!!!!) using the rotating and back and forth pattern, this razor gets the job done. Easy cleaning..... you can rinse the razor head under water(again refer to directions)........works awesome!! And is easy!!!!! Here is a fact about electric razors that I have figured out.....not a single one can shave as close as a blade razor/disposable/ etc. BUT, this razor comes very close, take it from someone who used to use a disposable from on a semi-regular basis and had an electric that was "so-so" at best . A good close shave at a reasonable price!!!!

I will use a razor until it quits! Wife got this replacement for me and I love it!

My husband uses this razor daily for a clean, quick shave before he heads out the door. Easy to use and gets the job done.

My son loves his razor and uses it daily. He wasn't real happy about using regular razors and this is perfect for a teenager. The pop-up sideburn trimmer is very handy since he likes to keep those trimmed up. Good value and perfect for a young person.

Shaver head is attracted to a magnet, but is still washable. My friend has been washing his Norelco shaver every weekend for the past seven years. Let's hope this PT724 lasts a long time, also.

The shaver worked pretty well for the first six months or so, but the floating heads completely fell apart when I tried to clean it recently. I have not been able to put it back. I will try to make a warranty claim or try again to put it together. It is a mess.
