So far so good. I've only used it once so far but I must say that it works great. I'll report on any durability issue, should they arise. I caught it on the "Deal of the day" for a tremendous price. This makes the deal an even better one. I would definitely buy it again. Oh yeah, I added the two year extended warranty just in case.

Excellent shaves, however, blades are the same ones used in cheaper models. Separate trimmer that replaces the head.

Bought this for a holiday gift for my brothers. They love it and all told me it helps to get a smooth skin. I am sure I will buy more of Philips Norelco's product in the future.

Better than before, I bought another kind smooth cut

My first Phillips (Norelco) shaver was around 1960. This razor is so more advanced, of course. I was impressed how smooth it is on the skin. Cuts much closer than earlier models an I hardly feel it at all. I have not tried it as a wet razor, but intend to. I highly recommend it. I also have a 2000 series, fairly new. Like both of them but love this X5004/84 razor. I have used other razors over the years, but this is by far the best.

This razor works very well. You don’t need to apply too much pressure to your face to get a clean cut.

Works great but with only one issue. I love the way it self stand. The issue I have is the gap between the 3 round rotating blades, My lip kinda get caught between them because the gap is too wide. Because the blades are contain inside the round housing, I don't get cut when my lip gets caught in them but it can be annoying. Other than that, it works great so far.

I like that shave very near to my skin. Is Perfect, i really love it!!

Works well in shaving some areas but struggles to remove the hair in other areas- chin, jawline.
