I've only used it once so far but I must say that it works great. I'll report on any durability issue, should they arise. I caught it on the "Deal of the day" for a tremendous price. This makes the deal an even better one. I would definitely buy it again. Oh yeah, I added the two year extended warranty just in case.

Great Razor

They love it and all told me it helps to get a smooth skin. I am sure I will buy more of Philips Norelco's product in the future.

This razor is so more advanced, of course. I was impressed how smooth it is on the skin. Cuts much closer than earlier models an I hardly feel it at all. I have not tried it as a wet razor, but intend to. I highly recommend it. I also have a 2000 series, fairly new. Like both of them but love this X5004/84 razor. I have used other razors over the years, but this is by far the best.

Self stand

The issue I have is the gap between the 3 round rotating blades, My lip kinda get caught between them because the gap is too wide. Because the blades are contain inside the round housing, I don't get cut when my lip gets caught in them but it can be annoying. Other than that, it works great so far.
