There can be hair or dirt particles stuck inside it, causing the shaving heads to don’t function correctly. To fix this problem, properly clean your shaver. If possible, remove the shaving heads and clean your shaver from the inside as well. For detailed cleaning instructions, refer to your user manual. To achieve optimal results make slow circular movements with the shaver over the face, only apply a gentle pressure which makes your facial hair stand upright and makes it easier for the shaver blades to catch and cut them. Not This Model!

However, I this purchase was a major disappointment. It does not hold a charge for long at all. It also seems faulty because it turns off during every shave now. Pushing the power button gets it going again but it’s almost impossible to get through an entire shave. I ended up purchasing another less expensive Norelco that works fine. I wish I had returned the more expensive one that I’m reviewing now. Very disappointing.

A full charge of one hour should be enough for a 60-minutes use. If you keep your shaver thoroughly clean, this also improves the battery performance. Unlike a traditional razor, this shaver delivers up to 90,000 cuting actions per minute. Thus, it is designed to deliver a close shave with fewer passes for more comfortable skin. The fully flexible heads also turn 360° to follow your facial contours. To get the best shave, we recommend pre-trimming your long facial hair and making sure to be gentle. If you prefer shaving with a foam or shaving gel, we recommend always washing your face with water and soap before you start shaving. You can then apply your favorite shaving gel or foam to the skin, and start shaving by moving your shaver in circular movements. For dry shaving, we again suggest always washing your face with water and soap beforehand, and then drying it properly. Please allow at least 15 minutes for your skin to dry completely before you start shaving. Then, you can start shaving by moving the shaver on your skin in circular movements. This circular movement is important, as it ensures that all hair growing in different directions is removed from your skin. We hope these tips are useful for making the most out of your Shaver.

We suggest to use a new shaver exclusively for 3 weeks to fully enjoy the closeness of a Philips Norelco shave. During this time your beard and skin will have time to adjust. At first you may not get the close shave which you expect, or your face may even become slightly irritated, this is normal. Not a good choice for my dad.

We actually returned the Norelco (cheaper version) and got this one thinking it would be much better. Not the case. My dad hated this one too. I guess Norelco is not a shaver for him. On the plus side, Best Buy took care of us and made the return easy. I always appreciate the service I get at the Muskegon Best Buy!

Please know that there's an adaptive period within the firsts times using the appliance. After that, the shaving experience should feel a lot smoother.
