I bought the Philips Sonicare 9000 Special Edition Rechargeable Toothbrush after reading some positive reviews online and I’m glad I did. This toothbrush is amazing! It has four modes and three intensities to choose from, so you can customize your brushing experience according to your needs and preferences. I like the White+ mode, which removes surface stains and makes my teeth look brighter in just three days. The brush head is also very comfortable and gentle on my gums, and it has a sensor that alerts me if I’m brushing too hard. The toothbrush comes with a stylish charging glass and a travel case, which are both very convenient and elegant. The toothbrush also connects to the Sonicare app, which gives me feedback and tips on how to improve my oral hygiene. I can see my progress and achievements on the app, which motivates me to keep brushing regularly. Excellent rechargeable toothbrush. I like the Blue/Black color. It works great. Many different settings for family member preferences. I don't know how long the battery lasts because I always keep it on the charger when not in use.

Omg! I cannot rave enough about this toothbrush. It’s by far one of a kind. I upgraded form another sonic care and this one is soooo much better. And the app is very insightful. Worth the buy for sure!

This is my third Sonicare toothbrush and my favorite thus far. I like the features especially the gum massage and the warning buzz when you press too hard. And it’s pretty!

Didn't know how much cleaner my teeth and mouth could feel. I cant even travel without packing this in my suitcase. I'm really glad I purchased one! Inly problem is I dont think I can go back to using a traditional toothbrush now.

Pros: - Nice blue color - 20 second timers for six segments - Multiple modes - App connectivity gives great tracking to brush head and brush patterns - Docking station is well thought out - Charges last a long time Cons: - App doesn’t connect to another service (Google Fit) on Android - Included travel case is very cheap plastic Unboxing / setup: The package comes with the brush, charger (with base), one Diamond Clean toothbrush head, documentation and a plastic travel case. Setup is simple. If you just want a toothbrush, plug it in, charge it and use away with one of the following modes: clean, white, gum health, deep clean. If you intend to use the app, download the “Sonicare App”, create a login, pair the device simply by turning it on while using the app, and brush following the app guidance. Use: First, I can’t say enough, it looks really nice with a royal blueish color. The app provides great feedback on pressure while brushing and turns out I have been brushing too hard all this time. The timer works in 20 second segments on the basic clean app for emphasis on different parts of the mouth. I have used Sonicare brushes before and the teeth whitening does work with routine use but plateaus at a point. The travel case is very flimsy plastic and felt like an afterthought compared to everything else in the kit. The charger is a plastic clear plate that goes on top of an inductive charger. In my time reviewing this product, I was never able to drain the toothbrush with 2x / day brushing for 2 minutes each. The charger is compatible with other similar brushes in the lineup as it charged my wife’s brush as well so you will not need multiple chargers if you have multiple Sonicare brushes. I was a bit disappointed that the app doesn’t tie into any other health ecosystems on Android (Google Fit, Withings Health, Samsung Health), but I believe it integrates with Apple Health for iOS users according to their website. Only taking a star away due to the cheap travel case and lack of integration on Android. Otherwise an outstanding toothbrush!

This is my 1st ever experience with an electric toothbrush and I wonder why I haven't ever used one before. I was a little skeptical about it being a Bluetooth brush but paired with the incredibly feature rich app, I would have to say all my expectations were not only met, but exceeded everything by a wide margin. In the box has the base charging station, the super premium and solid body, 1 replaceable toothbrush head, a little travel case and a quick start booklet. Downloading the app and pairing the brush to it was more than an easy breeze. Immediately found and paired and I was off to the brushing. While brushing, it is impressive that it will tell you if you are using too much pressure with its built in senor. Timer is set for the standard 2 minutes (I do deep clean). The app also tracks your progress and gives really helpful tips for your personal oral care. I personally use the Deep Clean setting and fair warning, put the brush in your mouth before turning it on or you will have toothpaste flying in all directions. Learn from my beginner mistake. I would compare the feeling after brushing as literally having my teeth cleaned at the dentist's office. There are 3 intensity settings and 4 modes to choose from - Clean, Whitening, Gum Health and Deep Clean. All options are easy to see as the handle will light up to the option chosen. I cannot praise enough how this toothbrush really does work well. My only gripe was while reading the booklet, there is a rechargeable travel case but the one included is just a cheap feeling standard case.

The Sonicare 9000 Special Edition/DiamondClean is an excellent toothbrush. Primarily, I've stuck with the cheaper variety of $50-$100 variants, as I didn't think there to be much difference. Let me tell you, there is a HUGE difference in quality, feel, and performance! This brush gives you 4 options (Clean, White+, Gum Health, and Deep Clean+), each with their own 3 intensity settings. If you aren't adjusted to a vibrational toothbrush, then I'd recommend activating the optional Easy Start option on the brush. It will build up your tolerance over a 14 day period. Even so, sometimes you want more or less intensity, and that is easily remedied intrabrushing by a click of the lower button. It otherwise has all the standard features for each brush mode, each with their own predetermined timer that does an offbeat vibration to let you know when to change sections of your teeth to brush. It stands out with it's C3 head and ability to connect to the Sonicare app via Bluetooth, as well as letting you know then you're brushing too hard. The app is so so, once paired, it centralizes all of your brushing information, and you can view your brushing regimen, as well as get recommendations for importing it. Overall, it's pretty feature rich, comes with a nice charging base and even a little travel case!

Elegant and powerful, the Sonicare 9000 offers a luxurious touch to fine dental hygiene. I’ve used several electric toothbrushes over the past decade+ and keep going back to Sonicare because they consistently provide the best mouth clean feeling with outstanding build quality. The 9000 lives up to that reputation, offering a waterproof body, 4 cleaning modes (clean, white, gum health, deep clean), 3 levels of intensity, a pressure sensor, brush pacer, and 14 days of battery life. It even connects to the Sonicare app which can automatically track your brushing pressure, habits, and length between brush head changes. The app is easy to connect to and pretty useful if you want to create good brushing habits for yourself and family. I’m not sure what the difference is with the special edition, but the somewhat bluish teal body looks great and the gold ring on top offers a touch of luxury. The charging base is also nicer than previous models I’ve used, with a round body and translucent top cap for the brush base to nestle in. It doesn’t offer the poles to store additional brush heads, but I never used those anyway. The case is gloss black and well made. It’s similar to the case of my old Sonicare brush, but slimmed down significantly. The old case was convenient to put in your luggage, but this new one is convenient enough for your glovebox. Using the brush is simple with one button for start/stop and the other to cycle through brush modes. The body is motion activated and picking it up will illuminate hidden writing that highlights what brush modes are available, brush intensity, and battery level. How the light gently fades in and out is a little detail that I admire, because it helps build around an overall theme of high quality and luxury. The pressure sensor is a nice safety touch, because it will notify you if you’re pressing too hard on your teeth and gums. If you’re used to counting or watching a clock to ensure you’re getting a full 2+ minutes cleaning session, you’ll love the brush pacer which will pulse every 30 seconds to let you know when to switch sections. It makes brushing a thoughtless exercise, which now enables me to do other thoughtless exercises while I brush like scrolling through Twitter. If you’re in the market for a high end and luxurious looking electric toothbrush, you cannot go wrong with the Sonicare 9000 Special Edition. It offers proven results in an elegant body and an outstanding clean mouth feel. Highly recommended.

The Sonicare 9000 Diamond Clean toothbrush is slick little device. It looks cool out of the box. I love the blue finish. This is a toothbrush that “stands out.” The lighting effects are a neat touch. Philips isn’t skimping on the extras, either. Inside the box, you get a brush head, a travel case, a charging stand, and a charging base. That separate stand is a nice touch as it is clear and easy to clean without gumming up the base. The Sonicare 9000 is my very first “smart toothbrush.” Using a toothbrush with a smartphone app has taken me a bit to get used to, but it’s a nice feature to have. The app times your brushing sessions and helps coach you on appropriate toothbrush pressure. On the brush itself, you will see the power button, the mode button, and towards the bottom is a pressure sensitivity indicator. You wake up the brush just by picking it up. Before you turn on the brush, set your mode. Then hit power. If you wish to change the brushing intensity, you can then press the mode again to cycle between three preset intensities. Setting up the brush with the Sonicare app on my Android phone was super easy. You download the Sonicare app from the app store and then follow the onscreen instructions. One complaint, it’s that a lot of the brushing modes feel useless without the app. My brush doesn’t pause or light up indicating it’s time to shift zones. Without the app, the mode button feels almost useless. I couldn’t tell a difference between clean, clean+, whitening, or gum health beyond the timer in the Sonicare app. My second complaint is that the pressure sensitivity indicator is facing the wrong way. I don’t see it while brushing. If the indicator life was built into the base of the brush or on the back of the handle, I would be more apt to see it. As is, it kind of gets lost there on the front of the handle out of my view. Why have the indicator if it isn’t visible to the user? Based on the estimated life, Philips expects you will replace the brush heads roughly every three months. Currently, the price for the replacement heads is around $30 for a two pack. They also come in packs of four. At $15 a brush head, that seems reasonable. Plus, if you want to switch to a different brush head such as one that focuses on whitening or gum health, you could easily do so. Again, this toothbrush looks great. The travel case is a nice touch. App integration works, it just feels a bit empty, to me. Pressure sensitivity indicator is a great idea, but on this brush, it just isn’t useful. Still, my mouth has never felt cleaner. 4.5/5 Easily Recommend
