Upgrade myast sonicare diamond clean after 5 years of perfect work. Reallynupset about the durability on this one just a yerar and a half working time really disappointing. I will be change to oral b now

Have not tried new toothbrush but looks nice OnTrac left box in front of garage where someone can see box instead of close to front door

ordered formy daughter going to college and it arrived quickly, but the box was completely damaged and had been opened, then taped closed....looked like an open box situation and that's not what I purchased. I ordered a brand new pricey electric toothbrush. I will be taking it back to the store tomorrow to have them order me a new item.

The toothbrush started turning on, on its own. I could not get it to stop. I kept getting up in the middle of the night to turn it off. I finally had to wrap it in a blanket and wait until the battery died. I did a search, and I guess the circuit boards malfunction if water gets past the seal? I only owned it for 10 months when this started happening. I don't soak it in water so I'm not sure how it malfunctioned.

What an absolute great tooth brush. The phone app and the tooth brush work in complete unison to guarantee great dental care.

My wife and I were both already users of the sonicare brand. We both have the lower model. I've had mine for about a year or two longer than her and mine was starting to show some wear. Trying out the new 9000 special edition is like driving a brand new car with all the options. It feels good in the hand, with some weight and has a nice golden bezel around where you put the brush head on, making it stand out just a bit than the lower tier sonicare toothbrushes. The charger has a clear glass cover on it that is sleek and easier to clean than the traditional sonicare base. It also comes with a travel case that kind of feels a little cheap. When I tried it out for the first time I immediately noticed a difference in quality. Either my previous sonicare had gotten too old to use or this 9000 is a remarkable step up in the way it brushes. You have the choice in 4 different brushing modes and 3 intensities. I have tried all of the modes and ended up sticking with the gum health mode. The app that links to the toothbrush will give you an idea of how well you're doing while brushing. You have your brushing frequency, time and pressure all tracked. When you're using too much pressure the toothbrush will buzz to let you know you're pushing too hard. There is a timer that buzzes every 30 seconds that let's you know that you should be moving to another section of teeth, so you don't concentrate only on one or two sections of teeth. I like this toothbrush and use it morning and night and I'm debating on upgrading my wifes older sonicare to one of these. Worth it!

Have had several different Sonicare brushes and they were great so I thought I would upgrade. This one is terrible and no upgrade. Ridiculously loud and stopped working after three months.

Our family has been using Sonicare rechargeable toothbrushes for many years with excellent results and this 9000 Special Edition is no exception. It doesn’t disappoint. We made the switch from manual toothbrushes to Sonicare starting with the Elite 750 model about 18 years ago. The first visit to my dental hygienist after making the switch confirmed that my overall oral health had improved significantly. My dentist has since repeatedly told me to keep up the good work with my teeth & gums. The rest of my family followed my lead & made the switch to Sonicare soon after. I’ve had no cavities since & not even a hint of gingivitis, much less any periodontal disease. My hygienist has very little work to do during my semi-annual cleanings. HIGHLIGHTS: -Artful Design: This is the most aesthetically attractive Sonicare toothbrush yet. The beautiful blue handle & minimalist charging base look fantastic sitting atop my bathroom vanity. -Practicality: The sleek, smooth, lightweight handle is ergonomic & maneuverable so it’s not tiring to hold/use. -Travel: There’s a handy travel charging case included. -Options: There are 3 levels of brushing intensity w/an easy-access on-handle button to change levels at will. There are also 4 different brush modes: Clean, White+, Gum Health, & Deep Clean+. Based on the smart brush head you use, the optimal mode & intensity will be selected automatically by the BrushSync technology. Again, you can still manually change modes by pressing the mode/intensity button. -The SmarTimer & BrushPacer keep your brushing sessions on track by providing audible tone alerts when it’s time to move on to the next quadrant of your mouth. -The Power Button on this 9000 Special Ed. Is easier to depress than the on/off button on my wife’s 9900 Prestige, which is flush w/the handle & can be a little difficult to engage. -The Philips Sonicare App has some helpful features. It gives real-time feedback while brushing, including all aspects of your technique. The built-in Pressure Sensor tells you whether you’re applying too much pressure. You’ll also learn whether you’re “scrubbing” & whether you’re brushing long enough for optimal results. It also keeps your full brushing history, gives addl. tips, & alerts you when it’s time to change out the brush head. -Interchangeable Brush Heads: The unit comes w/the C3 Premium Plaque Control brush head which removes up to 10x more plaque vs. a manual toothbrush, but still accommodates other comparable brush heads. For instance, my wife prefers the C2 Optimal Plaque Control heads. -Low-Tech Option: If you want to go low-tech, no problem. Just plug it in, charge it up, press the start button, select the intensity level, & skip downloading the App. -Cleaning Effectiveness: This high-tech power tool utilizes an advanced sonic technology w/a sweeping motion that creates gentle microbubbles that reach deep between teeth for a more thorough cleaning than you can accomplish w/your manual toothbrush. -Teeth Whitening: If you use this device as designed, it whitens your teeth without damaging the enamel. My teeth are whiter than they were before I began using Sonicare power toothbrushes.

Breaks in just a few months. Cheaper Sonicares last longer and are more sturdy. This model is cheaply made.
