Fantastic replacement heads for a fantastic clean

I also had the opportunity to review the excellent Philips Sonicare - Flexcare Platinum Connected Toothbrush which is now my daily driver as it delivers a clean unlike any power toothbrush I've tried due to its multiple modes and adjustable intensities (and mobile integration to keep me on my brushing until truly clean). These replacement heads are similar in feel to the standard cleaning head included with the unit, but this two pack extends your usefulness of the product an extra 6 months, or 3 months for a couple (My wife was excited to see the new Sonicare, so we split this package and both agreed that these heads do a great job on a great toothbrush. Deep cleaning, no more gum bleeds from harsh brushing by hand or with the wrong heads on another power brush. These are a great compliment to the system.

The best replacement brush for Sonicare

I own two Phillips Sonicare toothbrushes (a newer Platinum and a 5 year old HX model) and have tried numerous brush heads that they offer. I have found that these do a great job of cleaning while still being comfortable on your gums. I like that the bristles are molded in a flexible rubber as opposed to plastic. This offers more comfort ( I have sensitive teeth/gums) but I also find that it helps prevents water and toothpaste from entering the hollow cavity of the brush head. The brush also features wear reminders (blue coloring fades), which is nice if you aren't sure how often you should replace the brushes. If you own a Sonicare toothbrush these are the brush heads you want!

Love the size. I feel like I can get more teeth cleaned in less time. I can totally feel a difference using these compared to the smaller single round type of my previous oral B ones.

These are no more than a small toothbrush. Save your money and don't fall into the money pit that is PHILLIPS sonicare. Junk at a gold price.

This 2 pack of replacement brush heads are a must have companion to the Philips Sonicare - Flexcare Platinum Connected Toothbrush. Over time, tooth brushes must be replaced for effectiveness and for health reasons. The Philips Sonicare allows you to change our brush heads whenever you or the app decides it is time or for multiple users. Pros Cost effective - little more than paying for 2 quality regular toothbrushes Custom designed for your Sonicare Easy to use Cons Packaging seems a little excessive for only 2 brush heads This is a must have item if you own a Philips Sonicare. Get it!

Convenient to have two brush heads per pack. They appear to be medium to firm and durable. Very easy to replace as they just click in place on the toothbrush.

These replacement heads fit my Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected toothbrush, and according to the packaging, are designed to fit a variety of Sonicare models with snap-on heads. They will NOT replace the screw-on style heads found on some Sonicare models. I really liked the way the AdaptiveClean heads have a flexible rubber body. In addition to feeling softer against my teeth and gums, it lets the leading edge of the bristles adjust shape to match my teeth. I used these heads for a while (along with flossing) and my dental hygienist was very pleased at my next cleaning!

Sonicare, when to replace your toothbrush (heads)

These are the best toothbrush heads, not because of how well they clean, but because as you use them the blue disappears to let you know that the head needs to be replaced. Face it, it was not for this being a part of the Sonicare system choice heads, I'd still be using the same toothbrush longer than needed. Used to take the dentist to remind me in addition to setting a reminder on my mobile to replace my toothbrush. With this, I can just use them and when the blue bristles have turned white, it means it's time for me to replace it. Simple as that.

I like the flexible sides of the brush. Sort of like a shock absorber if you will. They seem to hug the contours of all of your teeth/gums and feel very comfortable. Leaving your mouth with a pleasant clean and tingly feel. Blue portion of bristles change white apparently over time to indicate a need for replacing. These also snap onto your brush easily. No "color-coding" but do have code symbol for type of brush head. If you use the same base unit for your entire family, You may have to come up with your own plan to code whose brush is whose

I've just started using the Philips Sonicare - Adaptive Clean Brush Heads, but I find they clean the teeth, even a little below the gum line, as well as message the gums for an overall good experience. While you can get four size brush heads that fit the Phillips Sonicare FlexCare series toothbrush, I find these (the largest of the four sizes) to cover a good area without being too big, although this is probably relative to one's mouth/jaw size. That's why there are different sizes, but for an average size male, these do a great job.

I absolutely love these brush heads and they have become my new personal favorite. The surface area of the brush head is larger than the intercare brush heads and they are much more flexible due to the new design. This new design incorporates what feels like rubber applications on the rear or the brush heads. I feel like I have better control when brushing in the harder to reach areas of my mouth. The larger surface area is a very welcome addition allowing me to cover a larger "cleaning zone" than before.

These heads are compact, soft, comfortable, and very effective. My main complaint with electric brushes is the mess. These heads eliminate the mess simply by being long enough and small enough to do the job and not make a mess. They are cost effective as well since a two pack will last through six months! The Sonicare app tracks the wear of the brush heads based on time and pressure used, so you know when it's time to replace. The heads last about 90 days of twice daily 2+ minute sessions.

    Deep Cleans Like They Claim

This is the first Philips Sonicare toothbrush I have owned and it came with a Sonicare AdaptiveClean brush head, so I really have nothing to compare it to other than the brushes for my old electric toothbrush (from a competitor) or a wide variety of manual brushes I have used over the years. It appears that this brush offering from Philips comes in one head size only, their “standard size” which is comparable in size to someone else’s “Dual Clean” brush for those of you contemplating a change in manufacturer. The softness of the bristles are again very similar to the competitor and most people should find the AdaptiveClean gentle on mouth tissues. I was able to come from another electric toothbrush to the Philips Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected which operates at 31,000 strokes per minute (many more than what I was used to), use it on the “High” intensity setting and 3-minute long “Deep Clean” mode, and have no issues whatsoever with it being too aggressive and causing discomfort or gum bleeding. Since changing over to the Sonicare system, I have noticed that there is noticeably less food debris to be removed by flossing after brushing than there was before when I used the competitor’s system. So far, durability of the brush head appears to be adequate, but time will tell as I get deeper into the three-month usage period. Many of my past toothbrushes have had the color-changing bristles to indicate time for replacement, but for years I have changed toothbrushes when the seasons change on the calendar as there is always this reminder built in to virtually every calendar one might look at. I look forward to hearing what my dental hygienist has to say when I go in for my next appointment after using the Sonicare for six months. Anyone that may be thinking about jumping ship to Philips from a competitor should go ahead and try it - I think you will be as pleasantly surprised as I am.

This brush head scrubs well my teeth and made it brighter. I have some places in my teeth that need more cleaning concentration and this brush did the job by reaching it due to its small design in order to get into those places that you are hard to be reached. If you use this kind of toothbrush and heads for first time you may need few days to get used to it, but after that you won't be able to switch since it does the job you always need. So happy with Sonicare.

Cleanest I've ever had with Sonicare!

Philips offers a number of different heads for their sonicare toothbrushes to offer different levels/types of cleaning, as well as different price points. These things are big. Way bigger than the DiamondClean that I have been using that I can't help but compare them to. The brushheads themselves are large. So large that these are definitely for adult use only, and if you have a very narrow jaw you might have trouble getting these into some smaller places at the back of your mouth. I didn't have any trouble, but I was take aback by how large the head is. This is offset by the silicone sheath around the brush head that eliminates that buzzing/vibrating on your teeth if you happen to bump the back of a tooth, This also makes it easier to hold in position without having the baby it. After reading a few other reviews online I also saw some others that had problems with groups of the bristles falling out - I definitely did not experience this after almost a month of brushing with these heads. The groups of bristles have different levels of stiffness and this makes the brush head feel a little more stiff than your average electric toothbrush head, but I enjoy the clean feeling that comes from that. Not once would I say that they have left my gums feeling sore or uncomfortable. These brush heads do also have a fading color section that is to indicate when the brush heads have reached the end of their life. The end result is that they leave me teeth feeling cleaner and like i'm fresh from a cleaning at the dentist when I use these. My hygenist did also mention that she could tell I'd been using a different toothbrush. I'm a little surprised at how much these cost, and that's my main reason for not scoring 5 stars is there is some value lacking in the high price, but they sure do get the job done! I will be purchasing again, and I would recommend to anyone with a Philips Sonicare.

This review will be short and to the point, these brush heads are nice. There is a rubber coating on the backside of the head that aids in comfort. There is less of a chance of anything getting caught in the brush head that shouldn't get caught. My teeth feel noticeably cleaning after using these brush heads compared to other sonicare brush heads. They are a tad bit bigger though, so If you have a small mouth or are sensitive to that, keep that in mind.

These Replacement heads have a built in indicator for when to replace them, I'm looking forward to trying that feature out. These head's bristles are on the softer side, so may be too soft for those that prefer a harder bristle, but most power toothbrushes are softer by design than manual toothbrushes. They seem to clean well and fit on a variety of sonicare tooth brushes my family owns.

I recently upgraded from an older model electronic toothbrush. The smaller base and slimmer, lighter handle, and smaller brush base are a big improvement. The brush head is the right size for my mouth and the bristles have the perfect stiffness to reach between teeth without being rough on the gums. My only regret is that I won't be able to scavenge magnets from the new heads ;-)
