The case that comes with it only carries the toothbrush and a brush. You’ll have to schlep along the glass charger in order to charge it despite the fact the manual shows the bottom of the case opening. It does not. I wish I had discovered this before it was too late to return it. If you want the rechargeable case you have to buy the more expensive model. No thanks. I’ll manually brush my teeth from now on.

Indeed, the travel case for this model is only designed to hygienically store the brush handle and brush head when you're on the go. As of this moment, charging on the go is only available for the DiamondClean 9700 series. We apologize if this was perhaps unclear in the advertisment.
