The New Philips Sonicare - Sonicare DiamondClean Smart Rechargeable Toothbrush - has 4 cleaning modes and 3 intensities: Clean for excellent daily cleaning, White for whitening your teeth and removing surface stains; Deep clean for a deep clean using the adaptive brush head that flexes with the contours of your teeth; and Gum health for gentle gum cleaning. The three intensities are high medium and low to customize your teeth cleansing. It comes with a charging glass and a travel case. It’s patented sonic technology helps to stimulate your gums with up to 31000 brush strokes in one minute. Enough strokes for a complete cleaning of your teeth and gums. It has a rechargeable battery that can last up to 42 uses or 3 weeks on a single charge and comes with multiple brush-heads. I experienced a positive change in my dental health and brushing experience. The Philips Sonicare App is great for monitoring your dental regimen based on 3D tracking and prompts. It is also, like the toothbrush, easy to use and has very high ratings. Overall the Sonicare DiamondClean Smart Rechargeable Toothbrush system is a great addition to oral health.

This is an elegant toothbrush. Sleek and comfortable. It has led indicators on the handle to let you know which cleaning mode you're in (there are 4, depending on what your mouth needs). The mode is set by the brush head you choose to use by default but that can be over-ridden. The easy to use app allows you to track your brushing behavior. A handy tool. It has a visual pressure sensor to let you know if you're pressing too hard While brushing. It has a helpful brush head replacement reminder indicator. Cons: there is no place to store the extra brush heads. And those replacement heads are VERY expensive. The travel case on this model doesn't have a charger or I would have chosen to simply keep the toothbrush in that daily. It could have kept the head clean as well as store replacement heads all while charging. Instead there is a silly charging glass. I'm not fond of it as it takes room, the brush kind of lays in the glass looking sloppy on the counter. Overall it is a great toothbrush but I find the accessories lacking for such a pricey investment.

I've been using premium Sonicare toothbrushes for years now. They always work great and do a fantastic job at getting your teeth clean. The different settings give you different feels that you really notice. There really isn't much more too it. If you want the best electric toothbrush out there, this is your best bet. A couple of downsides, now. Connecting to the app with my new toothbrush (after having my old toothbrush connected before) was not possible. No idea how to resolve this. It's not that big of a deal since I didn't find the app to be all that useful anyways. The new charging "cup" idea is really cool. You just place the toothbrush into the cup and it lights up and starts charging. The old versions always have a little peg you had to stick the toothbrush in in order for it to stand and charge. This usually wasn't an issue but occasionally, you'd spend a handful of seconds trying to line the two up. Now, it's just as simple as placing the toothbrush into the cup. You're done. This is extremely nice to look at and makes it very easy to charge. The problem I have with it, is, with each generation of toothbrush, they appear to be getting rid of any sort of toothbrush head storage solution. Years ago, they included a UV light case where you put your toothbrushes and shined a light on them for 10 minutes to disinfect them. Who knows if the light did anything, but there was a place to put your toothbrush heads (2 people use the toothbrush and it had 2 spots). The next generation did away with the light box and included a little attachment for the travel charger that would let you put your toothbrush heads somewhere. This was a step down to me so we kept using the light box since the charger was the same. Now, all you got is a cup. I would have really liked some sort of attachment for the charging part of the cup that would let you attach some toothbrush heads. Placing them in the cup with the toothbrush is really clumsy and you basically have to take everything out of the cup in order to place the toothbrush back in. I might just 3D print a new holder of some sort. That's really the only thing I have an issue with. No real place to put your toothbrush heads anymore. We're using the detachable piece that came in the years old lightbox right now. Other than that, it's a great upgrade to an already great toothbrush.

This is the 2nd time I’ve purchased one of these. My wife loves it when it works. However, the first one would turn on and off randomly. Hopefully this one won’t do that.

Contents of the box 1) Brush handle 2) 3 brush heads for different purposes 3) Charging base 4) Charging glass 5) Travel case I've had an older model Sonicare toothbrush for a really long time and it was time for a new one. This brush handle is much slimmer than my original one so it's easier to hold. The brush came charged (at least enough to brush once) which was convenient. I set up the charging base with glass on my bathroom counter. I imagine you could also rinse using this glass, but I probably won't do that. That's about it as far as setting it up to charge. I downloaded the Philips Sonicare app, signed in using my Google account, and told it which brush I had. There really wasn't any initial set up needed. My first brush, I decided to try out the app, to see if it had any use. I used the "clean" mode which lasts 2 minutes, with a beep every 20 seconds that allows you to pace your brushing and move to a different section of your mouth. The intensity of the brushing felt good to me, but I'm also used to using a Sonicare brush. The app guidance seemed ok. I noticed on subsequent brushings that it doesn't necessarily know which teeth you're brushing, for example, when brushing the inside left, it somehow though I was brushing the outside right. After brushing, my teeth felt really clean, better than with my older brush. Subsequent brushings seem to be about the same, leaving me with a clean feeling mouth. The app is mostly useful, it alerts you if you're moving the brush too much or pressing too hard. Also the handle lights up if you're pressing too hard. It also tracks the life of the brush head to let you know when to replace it. The travel case has a place for the brush handle and two separate brush heads, which are snapped into place and held securely. Overall this is a great brush. Definitely an improvement over the one I've had for more than 10 years. Hopefully this one will last as well.

I have had other Phillips products in the past, as well as Electric Toothbush, but this Sonicare is very nice, cleans deeply, and I am not wrong by saying that it is whitening my tooths. It is very simple to use, the tone of black color is very elegant, the way is packaging, and the package itself, like it is a piece of jewelry, will tell you the good quality product you are buying. Another really cool thing, and a brilliant idea, the the dished -in-induction base that will match with the included glass, a charging base adapted to the glass, clever idea, and the included fake leather travel case will also charge your toothbrush while you travel via USB. Now, all you have to do is push on the desired brush head and it will tell you to the handle so it knows the type of brush installed, and will change the cleaning program to match the head. There are 5 included cleaning modes. You can choose the cleaning cycle manually by pushing the button under the power button. You also can change the intensity of the cleaning by pushing the same button It also has a cool feature, a build-in Bluetooth to connect with a smartphone, and a Sonicare app. Installing the app and pairing the cell and the brush was very easy. What the app does, it shows you which part of your mouth to clean as it guides you through the selected cleaning cycle. It will also alert when you need to slow down or use less pressure, and keep record of your cleaning. I was able to test the 3 different smart brush head types, that automatically pair with the appropriate brushing mode and smart sensors provide real time feedback, and the brush include 4 modes: Clean, White+, Deep Clean+ and Gum Health & 3 intensity levels. The maintenance of the brush os easy, just remove the brush head and rinse everything with hot water, you can use the glass as a washer too. All I can recap, is that I feel my teeth different and feel clean and fresh.

This toothbrush is feature heavy but does not ignore the root of what makes a good brush: cleaning! Pros: Build Quality/ Features - One thing I didn't think I would mention in this review was build quality. However, this brush truly deserves it due to the solid feel, ergonomic shape, and the excellent charging base that looks like anything but an eye sore on the counter. Also, although I initially did not care much for the app, it has quickly become one of my favorite things about the brush. The mapping combined with the pressure sensor warning quickly helps to form good brushing habits that I am thankful for. Clean - One thing a toothbrush must do well is clean your teeth and in this metric, this brush does not disappoint. While I personally cannot tell much of a difference between the different brush heads, each seemed to provide a solid clean when used according to the pre-programmed brushing routines. Cons: Price - Probably the only thing I can knock on this brush is the price. The initial investment and the replacement heads are certainly not cheap, but if you are interested in a superior clean and user experience, you might be quick to justify the price. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this brush. The high quality features and clean are well worth the price.

This toothbrush worked great at first, but now it will not hold a charge after 2 years. This is compared to the cheaper Phillips toothbrush that my wife purchased for me a year earlier, and it's still operating just fine for $150 less. I would stay away from purchasing this one.

I own a similar tooth brush as this one by a different manufacturer, and that one actually hurt to use and led to my discontinued use of it, but this one feels much more gentle and has become my go-to tooth brush. It has multiple cleaning settings and comes with three interchangeable brush heads that will automatically activate certain cleaning settings depending on the particular brush head used. The set also comes with a pack of replacement brush heads. There is a charger that looks like a typical water glass that cordlessly charges the tooth brush (a very stylish and natural look for a charger), and I have not had any issues with battery life thus far. Bottom line, It feels absolutely GREAT in my mouth (Tongue, gums, inner cheeks, teeth), and I would recommend it to everyone I know in the market for an automated tooth brush..
