|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used the original Sonicare rechargeable toothbrush in the past, the one with the bulky handle and charging station that required a wall plug. While it was ok, cleaning the charging station, cord management, and dealing with the bulky handle was annoying. This brush fixes all of those issues. The Philips One Rechargeable Toothbrush is slim, it fits in a normal toothbrush holder, and is all of the Sonicare cleaning goodness in a easy to recharge housing. In the box is the toothbrush, USB charging cable, and travel case. The toothbrush arrives partially charged and can be used out of the box. A full charge takes approximately eight hours and will last a month brushing 2x daily. The brush head is a soft compact model and comparable in size with most manual brushes. To brush, press the power button, and the brush vibrates for a two minute cycle, with small pulses every 30 seconds to alert you to change 'quadrants' for even brushing. A few things to note, while the head is replaceable, the battery is not so you will have to buy a new toothbrush when this one fails to hold a charge. The USB charging port is located at the bottom of the handle in a covered compartment, it seems well designed not to get gross after months of use. Otherwise, this brush performs similar to the rest of the Sonicare family, it does a great job and leaves my teeth feeling clean without irritating my sensitive gums as some of these powered brushes do. I think its a great brush for the price point and recommend for anyone who has been on the fence about trying something other than a manual brush.
