Thank you for taking your time to share your experience here. We're sorry that you are not entirely happy with your new Sonicare, though. Have you made sure to follow brushing instructions? The movements are slightly different than the ones used for manual brushes. To achieve optimal results, please, place the toothbrush bristles against the teeth at a 45 degrees angle, and press gently to make the bristles reach the gumline or slightly beneath it. Brush your teeth with back and forth strokes. To clean the inside surfaces of the front teeth, tilt the brush vertically and make several up-and-down strokes. After you have completed the brushing cycle, you can spend additional time brushing the chewing surfaces of your teeth and areas where staining occurs. You can also brush your tongue, with the toothbrush turned on or off, as you prefer.

Loving the Slim Design

On the back of the package states that the toothbrush takes a AAA battery, that the battery lasts for 90 days and the travel case. It also states that the toothbrush has the two minute quadpacer. I currently own a full size sonicare toothbrush and I must say first off that I am glad that I got this toothbrush. I was just saying to myself I wish I had a smaller, simpler toothbrush. I do miss the different settings but this a great addition to my travel bag once I begin to travel again. The toothbrush is sleek and there is one power button on the front. The bristles are soft and keep in mind, just because its smaller and thinner, it still brushes great. I find myself using this brush more because of the nice sleek travel case. The case cover covers 80% of the toothbrush and it snaps closed. The toothbrush with the case is also thin enough to fit in the toothbrush holder in the bathroom with the rest of the families toothbrushes. Another great thing that is still there is the 30 second quad timer. The toothbrush makes a pulse vibration when it is time to switch to the next quad. It also makes multiple pulses when its almost time to stop. Overall, I love that I am still getting the same great clean as my other sonicare toothbrush and I get an additional case for the brush. Win Win! Would I recommend to friends and family! YES!

The handle vibrates, however the toothbrush head does not. If you take a normal Sonicare and put it under a stream of water the vibrations part the water and make a mess. This does nothing. Don’t waste your money, even for travel.

There really isn’t much difference between it and a regular toothbrush. The only difference I see is it vibrates a little and costs more.

I bought for travel & didn’t use it until 3 months after purchase or I would have returned it. I can’t believe they pass this off as a electric toothbrush.

A Really Good Toothbrush!!

The toothbrush comes ready to use and if you happen to need a charge, there is a USB application handy. Brushings with this toothbrush thus far have been good as the brush is light in weight yet it gives a thorough brushing. I am always apprehensive when approaching usage with an electric toothbrush because of the sounds that remind me of when my dentist is drilling for a cavity. I have an expensive brand’s electric toothbrush; however, I do not use it frequently because of that irritating drilling sound that it provides. I normally brush with a manual toothbrush for my daily brushings. This toothbrush is a nice starter toothbrush as it brushes smoothly but as I previously it gives a thorough brushing. My teeth feel as if I had an actual dental cleaning. Also, this toothbrush can be a great travel companion because of its case and charger. I am elated to add this toothbrush into my daily routine and if needed, it will be easy to pack and go!

The toothbrush is constructed very well and the midnight blue color looks very nice. The case is also thoughtfully designed to minimize spae. As the owner of a traditional Sonicare toothbrush there is no comparison between the two however you can't expect it to perform at the same level while being powered by a single AAA battery. The brush has a 2 minute timer that will vibrate every 30 seconds indicating a change of quadrants in the mouth. Even though the brush is not as strong as a traditional Sonicare it still does a better job at cleaning your teeth than traditional brushing The compact size makes it perfect for travel or as a starter electric toothbrush for kids. The battery should last approximately 2 months with regular use. If you are looking for a basic electric toothbrush that does not require charging then this is a good option for you.
