    Great Portable Water Flosser

The size of this portable flosser is great. Its not too small but it’s not large and isn’t overly complicated to use. It charges relatively fast, but may have also be due to it already having some juice upon opening the box. It’s super easy to use, and even easier to clean. I like that I’m able to use it with diluted mouthwash, as long as I flush it with water after use so it doesn’t clog. Since the size is much smaller than a table top flosser, it does go through the water quite fast and you’ll need to refill to finish unless you’re great at getting it all done on one fill. There’s three buttons. One power, and two setting buttons. It also comes with two flossers, so if you want the comfort flosser, that’s a separate purchase. You can store one flosser at a time inside of the unit. There’s a place you can snap it in to dry. This was my first time using a water flosser and there is definitely a learning curve. I did as instructed but didn’t close my mouth all the way and boy, oh boy, lesson learned. The water went everywhere and splashed me in the face so hard. It was a huge laughable moment. But you get the hang of it soon thereafter. This handy flosser has some powerful water pressure. It’s not uncomfortable, but may tickle until you’re use to it. It does leave a much cleaner feeling in your mouth. I prefer this over traditional methods.

Terrible product, Sonicare used produce items of high quality - since Philips have taken over nothing lasts, they are overpriced and quality is compromised.

This product may work well for some people but i perosnally did not like it. I dont recommend this as the water empties too quickly and may require frequent refills and only includes two nozzle heads. There are similar products that have a larger reservoir and the ability to temporarily turn off the head.

Philips Sonicare Cordless Power Flosser 3000

I have waited to get one of these things for the longest and I'm glad I was able to grab this when it came along. I received my Philips Sonicare Cordless Power Flosser 3000 about a week ago and have been using it daily since (sometimes 2 and 3 times a day). This thing is amazing. Inside the box along with the Cordless Power Flosser comes, F1 Standard Nozzle, F3 Quad Stream Nozzle, USB-C Charing Cable, USB Wall Adapter, and User Manual. At first glance this thing looks kinda big and somewhat awkward to hold, but you'll get used to that in no time. To start, simply plug the USB-C Charging Cable to the charging port on the back of the upper portion of the power flosser. Once fully charged, you can fill up the reservoir to the Max level on the back of the tank. Now you can fill up the reservoir one of 2 ways, either through the side port on the reservoir tank or twist off the top part of the flosser and fill the tank through the wide mouth. Once you have your tank full, simply reattach the top portion of the flosser and add either the Standard Nozzle or the Quad Stream Nozzle until you hear a click. And you're ready to go. Caution: Do not press the power button (like I did) before you have placed the nozzle inside your mouth. I pressed it not realizing (and I don't know why I didn't realize what was going to happen) that it was really ready to go and water shot out really fast, spraying my face and mirror. So just be careful. Now on the front of the power flosser you can adjust the intensity of the water pressure and change the setting from Clean to Deep Clean. The Standard Nozzle felt really good, but the Quad Stream Nozzle felt amazing. After using it the first time, it felt almost as if I had just left my dental office. This is an amazing product and I recommend this to anyone looking for a nice cordless power flosser and its accurately priced in my opinion. One final note, the battery life on this flosser has been superb. Philips rates this as having a 14 day battery life. So we'll see how that holds up, but so far after about a week's use, it's still going strong.

    A power-washer for your mouth

I wasn't too crazy about a device that squirts jets of water in your mouth; there's so many ways that could be messy. My wife had a corded water flosser that she used maybe a handful of times since she bought it over a year ago. It didn't get much use because of how limited its range was before you tugged on the entire unit causing water to spill onto the counter. So, when she recently bought a cordless unit, I was surprised to see how long the water lasted and how well she said it worked. I decided to try out the Philips model 3000 cordless because I knew the brand. I like the extra options it had over my wife's unit and its great to have options with anything. The 3 different settings were each more intense than the other and worked well at getting teeth clean between brushings. The quad stream tip didn't really have the effect I thought it would have. Cutting the stream into 4 different directions made it softer to use, but also increased the chance of water unintentionally leaving the confines of my mouth. Switching between nozzles was easy and secure due to the clicklock button on the front. Filling the water reservoir could be done by the little door on the side or by unscrewing the base with a quarter turn. I found the unit to be lightweight in hand and easy to maneuver around my teeth. The reservoir holds enough water for one complete cleaning lasting 1 minute timed, separated in 15 second interval pauses, letting you know how much time to spend on each area. Instead of letting the water dribble out of your mouth like Philips suggests, I hold for the full 15 seconds then spit; cleaner with less splatter. It works better than a toothpick and just as good as floss, but nicer to your gums.

Great Water Flosser No Strings Attached

This is my first water flosser and I was curious on how well it could clean, compared to dental floss. My teeth are tightly spaced and many dental flosses I’ve used break during flossing, except Oral-B Glide. I have not been interested in a countertop water flosser since they take up my limited countertop space and require an outlet nearby. This water flosser seemed to help remedy these two issues. With a push of the release button and alignment of the notch on the flosser head, I was able to secure the attachment quickly and easily. I first used the regular head on “Deep Clean” mode and the highest pressure. Even though I found these settings perfect, my wife felt like the pressure was too high. The total clean time was about 60 seconds, but I noticed the reservoir only lasted about 40 seconds and only was able to clean the bottom teeth front and back before requiring a refill. The cleaning felt amazing, and I flossed with regular dental floss afterwards to test how well it cleaned, and the floss did not pick up any additional plaque. I then tested the quad stream nozzle, but noticed a much weaker stream of water through my teeth. Even though I did not find that the quad stream nozzle cleaned as effectively as the regular one, it did provide a nice gum massage. The quad stream nozzle was also great at cleaning the tongue, as it was the perfect pressure. I highly recommend this water flosser for the best oral hygiene. At the moment, this will not replace my dental floss entirely since I was unable to verify how much plaque remained. However, this water flosser will definitely be part of my oral hygiene routine.

Sonicare vs. Waterpik - lower power, just as clean

I've used a Sonicare toothbrush for about 20 years now. I've had the same 1st generation brush, so I know they can reach a high standard. I've also been using a Waterpik flosser (a counter-top model, not a travel model) for about a year and a half, so I have experience with flossers. The Sonicare flosser does have some variability in the power of the spray, but it tops out at about what would be a 5 out of 10 on the Waterpik. I've been accustomed to using the Waterpik on about a 9. Despite this difference in pressure, my teeth feel just as clean with the Sonicare as they do with the Waterpik. You get the same kind of "dentist clean" feeling with both. I also like that the Sonicare is easier to travel with than the counter-top Waterpik. I did have a smaller Waterpik before, and liked it, but the power of the spray was highly dependent on how much of a charge you had, and it required a special charger. With the Sonicare, I've been using it for about 8 or 9 days and haven't had to recharge it yet. Even if I were traveling and ran out of charge, it will charge with the same plug as my cell-phone, so there's nothing extra to bring or keep track of. If you've used a Sonicare toothbrush before, you know it pauses briefly after a certain amount of time to let you know to move to a different part of the mouth. This does that every 15 seconds. The only way that the Sonicare falls behind the more powerful Waterpik is if you have a gap in your teeth which tends to capture larger pieces of food, or get stuck more strongly, you may need the higher power to get the food unstuck.
