I bought this washer for my husband because we needed to have a separate waterpik for him as he was not flossing. So, he really has given great kudos for this particular waterpik

Purchased this back in January but just got around to using it today as I had a handheld model already. Upon plugging it in and attempting to turn it on - no power. Beyond that the design is as boneheaded as you could make it - the power cable plugs into the bottom of the unit and they placed holes in two places at the top so what do you think happens when you try to lift the unit to troubleshoot when it's full of water? Either way water's getting wasted, but I was trying to avoid having to pour it all out as I just filled it. Seems like quality for Philips oral care products are getting worse and worse. Last two toothbrushes made it just beyond the warranty period before they stopped functioning properly and now this unit is DOA.

It might be just me but I don't think it works very well. At low pressure it doesn't feel like it is freeing up anything from my teeth and when I turn it up to a pressure that feels like it will it makes a mess of the bathroom sink with water everywhere. Maybe I need to keep trying different ways to control the spray so I don't get all wet.

worked great for a couple months, now i can hear machine on and struggling to pump water. I have to wait for water to start shooting then it will stop and start again. Sound like something is blocking water from coming out. Flosser is defective.

I really like this flosser. I've had another brand for some time now and this one is better. I like that it's smaller but doesn't hold back on the features. One of the best features for me is the on/off switch thats on the wand. With the other brand I have the on/off switch is on the device and not the wand. This is convenient because you have to have one hand ready to switch it on and the other hand with for the wand. With this one you can use just one hand with the wand in your mouth and switch it on and off. It comes with two nozzles. One for deep cleaning and one for thorough overall cleaning(this one is softer). I prefer the softer one. You can turn up the intensity of the stream of water that comes out of the nozzle from 2 to 10. 10 is way to strong for me but maybe some can handle it. I prefer between 2 and 4. It seems like that gets the job done for me. There's also two settings on the unit for standard clean and deep cleaning. The standard clean gives you a standard pressure when cleaning. The deep clean is strong and pulses. You can still adjust the intensity with the knob on the unit to your preference. I don't have braces but I imagine the flosser being a great convenience for those that do as it's able to reach places a toothbrush and regular flossing can't reach. Don't judge me be for me this can almost replace string flossing. It's just that good. Very simple to use. I would recommend usage for the entire family. As I said before it has a small footprint so storage shouldn't be a problem. You can buy replacement nozzles if you have more than one user so that wouldn't be a problem. Great job Philips.

Philips Sonicare Power Flosser 3000 - White I was introduced to a Philips Sonicare toothbrush a few years ago. I am now where when I get my teeth cleaned it's a pretty quick and painless visit. That toothbrush completely changed a lifetime of long dental visits not to mention how much more healthy my teeth and gums are. I had braces as a kid and used a waterpik. I don’t know why I waited this long to revisit this additional mouth care. The Philips Power Flosser comes very highly recommended. You will benefit if you use this flosser. My experience was once you master keeping the water from making a mess, which for me was to keep my mouth closed, and get your settings right you will feel the difference. I recommend turning down the water pressure while you try each setting. There is no reason to use a lot of pressure. Just start out low and turn it up overtime if you want. Try out the tips as they both work well. If you keep at it and don’t overdo it you are almost certain to improve your teeth and gum health. I don’t know what improvements I will see but in the coming months I do expect it to be helpful. It feels very good after using it now and it doesn’t take very long. My only complaint is I do feel Philips could have used a better quality hose to the handle. It is coiled which is good but it feels a bit cheap. I don’t know how long it will last but I do trust Philips' design decision and honestly for the gains you can get using this flosser and what it costs it's a heck of a value. This is probably one of the easiest to recommend products I have had the pleasure to use.

    Very Low Product Reliability

Very disappointed of this product, sleek Industrial Design but poor product reliability. Every day I alternate my oral hygiene with this product and my old WaterPick Flosser (purchased in 2018), The Phillips Power Flosser started to leak water under the base after 8 months of using the product once a day. There's no question about what brand I will buy next.
