i purchase this to replace my old version sonicare. Actually i've used my old one for many years and it's still in perfect condition. i changed to this one just because this handle is thinner than the old one. until now, the using experience is good and it's easier to grab it in hand. other than that, i don't see anything different from my old version.

It has a timer built in. Replacement brushes are a little pricey

I've bought children's electric toothbrushes for years and got tired of them lasting only one month. I bought the "adult" Sonicare for my 5 year-old and it is great and she likes using it. She especially likes hearing the "beep" when she places it on the charger.

This is my second one over about 5 years. Phillips sonicaire truly changed my dental hygiene performance. Dentists notice the difference. So much less plaque. Of course you still need to floss, but leaves you feeling “dentist-visit-clean” every time you brush.

This is the best low cost toothbrush option that I have found. I have been using these for over 10 years now and been very happy with them. Not the most durable, but price point is right for replacing every few years and the warranty covers any major issues.

It's a good toothbrush. Easy to use. It doesn't habe any speed settings but isn't gentle or rough on the gums.

My dentist, my periodontist and a number of my friends highly recommend Sonicare as *the* only toothbrush to use. The high frequency vibrations help to break up plaque under your gum line. Nothing else you can use at home does that. I have seen a marked improvement in my dental health and the whiteness of my teeth since buying this.

This particular toothbrush comes highly rated. In fact I downgraded from the 9100model as I felt I did not need all the extras. Cleans well. The only issue I have now is that the replacement toothbrush are quite expensive!
