    Have been using Phillips Sonicare toothbrushes since the mid-90's. Everytime one wears out for me, I wouldn't think of going to another brand for an electric toothbrush. My dentist also is happy with my choice!

    Bought this at a discount during Black Friday. This is a step up over my trusted AA batteries-operated electric brush while not as expensive as the “higher” end model. To me, the better models are more about marketing hype. The only down side, and the same for all these electric toothbrushes, is the cost of replacement brush head. Think in terms of buying a color ink jet printer and the cost for the replacement cartridges over the life of the printer. This lower end mode also uses cheaper brushes, which I can justify.

    I loved the Sonicare Flexcare, and then it died after many years of use. I purchased the Sonicare Diamond clean and it was terrible. So then I purchased the Sonicare Protective Care and like it so much better than the more expensive Diamond clean.
